This role is instrumental in driving legal operations excellence, supporting corporate governance, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements. This position reports to the Senior Counsel, Global Commercial & Legal Operations and is part of the IDT Legal Team, the role will be located in Coralville, Iowa or Boulder, Colorado and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead the implementation and optimization of legal systems, tools, and workflows, including own and report on legal department metrics and KPIs. Serve as the legal team's representative on cross-OpCo legal operations projects, including drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and collaboration across the department. Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, board materials, and entity management. Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs and policies, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel on governance and compliance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts, maintain and improve contract lifecycle management processes. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification required. 4+ years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department or law firm. Strong understanding of legal operations, corporate governance, and contract law. Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g., CLM, LegalTracker, entity management tools). Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Experience in the life sciences or biotech industry. Familiarity with cross-border corporate governance and compliance. Project management experience or certification (e.g., DBS, Lean Six Sigma).
