We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Senior Litigation Paralegal /Asset Recovery Analyst to join our in-house legal team, supporting real estate litigation with a focus on landlord/tenant/property operations, collections and unlawful detainer actions across our national portfolio with a focus on the west coast portion of the portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Litigation Support: Assist in all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through resolution, including discovery, pleadings, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Unlawful Detainer (Landlord/Tenant) Actions: Support counsel in the prosecution of unlawful detainer matters, including document preparation, case tracking, and coordination with property management teams.

Compliance & Tracking: Monitor transaction deadlines, regulatory requirements, and market developments impacting legal strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
Minimum 5+ years as a paralegal, with significant exposure to litigation; real estate industry, and unlawful detainer experience preferred.
California litigation experience, particularly in unlawful detainer (landlord/tenant) matters.

Lichtman Eisen Partners is seeking a candidate who is a self starter, possesses a high level of motivation with an understanding of client service and development while self-sufficient with computer skills and be willing to assume a high level of responsibility and interact professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys and staff. The paralegal will work in a fast paced environment with the attorneys and law clerks to effectively manage cases while providing superior service to the client at all times. Specifically, at this time, the paralegal will be working between the attorneys and law clerks in managing our commercial collection law practice, preparing for real estate closings, preparing correspondence regarding settlement of matters and managing our social media accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily case management
Order, review and summarize documents for commercial collection matters and real estate transactions
E-filing
Answering discovery
Communicating with clients regarding the disbursements of settlements
Assisting the attorneys on our social media marketing
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Paralegal with experience preferred
Must possess strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
Must have the ability work in a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be proficient in local and federal case filings (ECF/Pacer)
Education:
Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate
Bachelor's Degree Preferred

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide essential legal and administrative support to two supervisory attorneys. This is an in-office position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a professional demeanor. This role focuses on legal research, document preparation, deadline tracking, and client communication, with an emphasis on property tax appeals and related legal processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Legal Research and Documentation:
Conduct in-depth legal research related to property tax appeals, including analyzing property values, tax rates, and relevant regulations.
Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including appeal forms, cover letters, and correspondence with local governments.
Prepare and organize materials for hearings, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
Case Management:
Track and manage deadlines for property tax appeals and other legal matters.
Maintain and update a database of electronic client files, ensuring all records are current and easily accessible.
Generate client reports and summaries as requested by attorneys.
Hearing Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate hearings with local officials and internal teams.
Communicate with various stakeholders nationwide to ensure smooth hearing processes.
Client Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
Provide updates on case statuses and assist with client-related administrative tasks.
Administrative Support:
Manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings, hearings, and deadlines.
Process incoming mail and correspondence, routing it appropriately.
Assist with department billing and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business & Management, Legal Studies, or a related field). Candidates without a bachelor's degree will not be considered.
Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Two years of office experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Compensation and Benefits:
Starting Salary: $50,000 annually.
120 hours of PTO after a 90-day probation period (unused hours are forfeited annually).
Typically, 17+ paid holidays per year.
