Works with various stakeholders and online databases to gather and organize legal documents and other key information for legal proceedings. Works with outside counsel to meet the document demands of legal proceedings. Responds to and processes correspondence that may include administrative and technical data in the form of a draft or the finished final document. Maintains files according to records management specifications and follows up with key due dates. Maintains legal documents utilizing an electronic filing system. Engages with appropriate internal and external parties to ensure relevant materials are identified, located, and secured. Drafts routine and periodically complex communications for review and final sign-off by management or attorneys in the organization. Organizes, prioritizes, and maintains workflow to meet and support the department requirements. Takes accurate messages, records, retrieves, and relays information. Partners with team members to develop and/or improve current processes and procedures. Research and summarize data from a variety of sources to maintain security guidelines. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of legal support or administrative office experience; Associate degree in Paralegal Studies and Paralegal/Legal Assistant certification preferred. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Accountability: Able to take responsibility for all work activities and personal actions. Attention to Communication: The ability to ensure that information is available to others who should be kept informed.
