Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.

Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping.

Selects, positions, and secures torch, cutting tips, or welding rod, according to type, thickness, area, and desired temperature of metal.
Guides and directs flame or electrodes on or across work piece to straighten, bend, melt, or build up metal.
Prepare work area for hot work, including checking hot work certifications at the work site and adjacent areas.
Prepare surfaces for production welding by inspecting joints and cleaning as required.
Inspect welds for defects. Confer with supervision before correcting deficiencies.
Document existing conditions.
Become familiar with applicable safety requirements before commencing work.
Ensure Lock-out Tag-out has been correctly accomplished.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience required
Must have Shipyard Experience
Must be able to pass background check and urinalysis
Pay:
$29/hour plus Per Diem

Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm
Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am
Sunday, Friday, Saturday 5am-5pm, Thursday 5am-9am
