KNI has 19 homes with direct support staff assisting with daily living activities in each home throughout four buildings and is located on a large campus, east of the VA hospital in Topeka. KNI is funded in part by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is subject to requirements bestowed by Federal and State levels of government conditions of participation. About the Position: Provide direct service and support to the people who live in Unit 1 at KNI so they can achieve personal growth and well-being, realize choice, attain full inclusion, and celebrate their individuality. The Unit 1 population uses wheelchairs, has extensive medical needs, and are total care and need full assistance with every aspect of their life.
