Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert Remind medication Engage patients in exercises or other activities Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program High School Diploma or GED One year prior professional experience Drivers license required CPR certification required

The client is energetic and enjoys spending time out in the community. He requires supervision to ensure his safety and support with life skills. Schedule: Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Potential evening shifts during the week from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Responsibilities: Provide supervision and companionship in the community Assist with money management and basic life skills Monitor during meals due to choking risk Transport client to and from activities using caregiver's vehicle Maintain a calm and safe environment, including managing potential behavioral challenges Requirements: Must pass a Level 2 Background Check Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Unique in our approach, GENTLE HOME CARE is your trusted companion in providing compassionate care solutions.
