The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners One (1) year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience as an Advanced Provider required. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. Current IL state license is a plus. The Practice MacNeal Hospital - Berwyn, Illinois A community hospital with some academic overtones. MacNeal Hospital has its own FM/IM residency and EM residents from Loyola & UIC rotate here. Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Magnet-designated. 374-bed facility with a 26-bed Emergency Department. Annual volume of 55,000 with a 22% admit rate. Epic EMR with Dragon dictation. All core sub-specialty backup available.
