I.GENERAL FUNCTIONS
An On-Call Pet Care Attendant attends to and cares for pets such as dogs, cats, birds, and other pets within a (24) hour notice at our KENL INN facility. Great opportunity for high school and college students to pick up a few hours a month with great pay. Job requirements may be cleaning and maintaining pet areas, taking dogs on nature hikes or managing our daycare yards while the dogs are outside. Reports to Kennel Supervisor or Manager, for proper direction, interpretation, and evaluation. Maintains and guarantees
KENL INN quality and safety standards.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide water for pets according to schedule and instructions
Cleans and disinfects pet areas
Transfers pets between quarters and adjusts controls to regulate temperature and humidity of pets quarters.
Maintains pet enclosures, fenced yards, hiking equipment, and other KENL INN property assigned
Plays and hikes with pets and summarizes activity on forms provided for pet owners.
Attends Company sponsored training events targeted for continuing personal and professional growth and development.
Observes safety and security procedures, determines appropriate action beyond guidelines, and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
Operates equipment as per operation guidelines and uses materials properly. Reports to Supervisor any failure to adhere to state, federal, or county regulations, and/or KENL INN, INC. work ethics and standards.
Reports to Supervisor any deviation from scheduling or quality of service that may become a potential liability or result in client complaints.
Performs related work as required.
Starting Pay - $14.00 - $15.00, depending on pet care experience
Reliable, team player is required.
Reliable transportation is a must.

We offer:
Paid health insurance. We cover all caregivers working 25 hours a week or more with individual indemnity health insurance. We can also offer partial payment for additional health insurance coverages, and for plans for spouses, children, and family.
Competitive pay. Our wages are matched to experience and qualification, and are up to $3.00 above the eastern Nebraska average and 20% higher than the national average.
Immediate hours. We have current openings so you can start your first shift right away.
Flexible scheduling. We schedule you with clients based on your availability, whether you are looking for five hours a week or forty.
Weekly paychecks, directly deposited every Friday.
Paid on-the-job training. All initial training and shadowing is paid. No medical certification or prior experience is required: we coach you through the specifics of caring for each client individually.
