Engage: Provide attentive care to children aged 6 weeks to 13 years, tailoring activities to their developmental stage.

Meal Prep: Prepare meals and snacks for the kids during your shift.

What We're Looking For:
Experience: At least 6 months of childcare experience
References: Three childcare or professional references.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified-or we'll assist you in obtaining these.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and the ability to commute up to 30 miles.
Background Check: Ability to pass a thorough background screening.
Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S..

Live-in and Sleep Over's:
secures clients home for the night and provides reassurance by being present at the client's home during the nighttime hours

Utilize the E.V.V. (Electronic Visit Verification) program as applicable
Assists with household tasks directly essential to client's personal care
Accompanies client to medical appointments or shopping if necessary and performing other essential errands
Measures and records oral, rectal, and auxiliary temperatures, pulse and respiration, and blood pressure when ordered within the training limitations of the aide
Prepares meals as required based upon client's preferred diet
may need to feed client if required
Provides clean and safe environment within the home including safe use of equipment such as side rails, oxygen, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, etc.

Required Qualifications:
Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs
Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in home care
Able to work independently
Ability to multi-task, self-directed, good time management skills
Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

As a Floater for Voices for Independence, you'll play a pivotal role in providing quality care and support to our consumers. •Work as an integral part of the Personal Assistance Services (PAS) Team, helping consumers with essential activities of daily living, including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, transfers, medication management, transportation, appointments, etc. for consumers when the agency is in need due to call-off or short-term shift coverage.
•The Floater will be available 5 days per week, with the flexibility to accept shifts as needed to ensure the health and safety of consumers living in a home and community setting.
•The Floater will work closely with the PAS Lead Supervisor regarding availability week to week, as needs for coverage may vary. The PAS Lead Supervisor will provide assignments with as much notice as possible, understanding that call-off needs may be short notice.
•This position will report any concerns related to the consumers or the consumer's home environment to the PAS Lead Supervisor in a timely manner and with detail to ensure that proper actions can be taken if necessary.
•The Full-Time Floater will be compensated $15.00 per hours worked. The Full-Time floater will be compensated at a minimum base rate of $9.50 for up to 20 hours per week. If the Floater is not scheduled for a full 40-hour work week, then up to 20 hours of base pay will be included to help bring the Floater to a full-time schedule. (The Floater will not receive this rate if shifts are offered and turned down during the designated time of availability.)
•This position will be compensated for mileage, at the federal rate of reimbursement while traveling on behalf of the organization. Travel time is not considered part of the 40-hour work week.

Experienced Female Live-in Companion needed (every other week)
We are helping a Erie PA Area family to privately hire an experienced live-in who is willing and able to assist their mother who is physically healthy, but has dementia. They are looking for a "fun" memory-care companion to keep her engaged in life an, having FUN, and outside activities. There will also be traditional live-in work, including housework, cooking, help with technology, driving, and general assistance around her home.
Interview by video. If you like each other, the family can contribute towards your transportation to get to them (drive or fly).
Position: Work every other week, 7 days on, 7 days off. Long term position.
Location: Cambridge Springs PA (45 mins from Eerie PA)
Pay $2,100-$2,275 per work week depending on experience.
Requirements to apply
Need someone with a fun, outgoing personality and a great sense of humor.
1. Two or more strong references from previous, home-care clients, with at least one being from a live-in position. The references can not be from co-workers or supervisors. They must be from the family themselves.
2. Have a reliable car and willing to use it to drive the client around in.
3. 3+ years of verifiable memory-care experience.
4. Willing to be drug tested and background checked.
5. Have the technological means to do a Zoom video interview (laptop, computer, or smartphone)
6. Must be a US resident currently living in the US, authorized to work for any employer.
Process:
1. Fill out an application. You will move on to the next stage if you meet the job requirements.
2. Pass a 6-question phone screening interview with us.
3. Submit 2+ live-in care references that we can verify. If your live-in references are both very strong, you will move on to the next stage.
4. Have a Zoom interview with the family's recruiter. They are working to find the top 3 candidates for our client to interview.
5. Directly interview the family via Zoom. This is your time to shine and to ask questions about their specific needs and desired live-in schedule.
6. If they choose you, you will get a written job offer to consider. If you accept, you will need to move in with them by the start date (usually 2 weeks after being hired)
We do not employ or co-employ any live-in. We are 3rd party recruiters that specialize in fulfilling long-term live-in positions with families. The family is the employer and pays you directly through a payroll service. All pay is on the books as a W2 employee. You negotiate all terms/schedules/duties/pay with the family, not us.
