He held several roles at Clear Channel Communications, including President and CEO of Global Music. He was later named CEO and President of Live Nation when it was spun off of Clear Channel in 2005. When Live Nation merged with Ticketmaster in 2010, Rapino was named President and CEO of the parent company, Live Nation Entertainment. He joined the SiriusXM Radio board of directors in January 2018.
