THE JOB
Uptown Theater is seeking an operations team member. This person will guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment. May also scan tickets or perform guest services related duties.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Escort individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue-this may include collecting recyclables from the reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment.
Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
High school diploma or equivalent experience required
Good working knowledge of operations and safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.

The Role:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the security department and staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions under the direction of the Security Manager and Operations Manager.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
* This role will be on predominantly show hours with occasional Non Show hours.

* Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy
* Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members
* Maintain security checklists and inventory in coordination with Ops Manager.
* Turn in all lost and found articles to Box Office
* Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training & Live Nation alcohol policies
* Participate in all pre-shift meetings prior to start of shift
* Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have
* Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues- consults or involves management if the situation escalates

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
* High School Diploma required
* 3-5 years in restaurant, bar, night club leadership role,
* Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations.
* Experience in developing operating procedures.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills.

The Role:
The Special Events Logistics Manager provides administrative support to the Sales Department, including Senior Sales Manager, Sales Managers and Logistics team; performs special projects as delegated by the Director of Sales.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for execution, servicing and detailing of assigned events once booked by the Special Events Department. They are to ensure a smooth and efficient process of an event from the SEO to the actual operation of the function. This position works closely with the Special Events Team in contract negotiations and servicing groups while being a liaison between Special Events and Operations team.
Responsibilities:

Client interaction; conducts site inspections and walk through with clients as requested by SM/DOS
Assist Sales Manager(s) as requested with special needs by the client
Participate in meetings such as the SEO Meeting and Production Meeting
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry; you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue
Maintain files in proper order after the (SEO) has been distributed
II. Accounting Functions
Process all deposits and payments in a timely manner
Track status of payments made for all events with Sales Mangers
Follow up on all accounts receivable and provide monthly update to Director of Sales and Business Manager
Verify Deposit / Payments tracking schedules with Sales Manager
Proper execution and completion of all post event paperwork: Party Recap Sheet, Captain's Report and Receipts
Responsible for proper settlement or payment on night of event with client and entering billing information into POS to generate a final guest check
Manage staff hours to ensure we are not exceeding our budget
Follow up on all accounts receivable and provide monthly update to Director of Sales and Business Manager
III. Staff Functions
Maintain supply of digital and print sales kits and collateral materials
Update sales kit inserts and menus as needed.
Collect and update digital content for event marketing
Generate a competitive analysis report on a quarterly basis
Special projects as assigned by Director of Sales
Distribution of final contracted SEO's to appropriate parties
Train all staff with regards to the proper techniques and etiquette for service
Produce weekly banquet summary for all events - includes number of team members and their time to scheduled and verify staffing was handled by Operations Manager
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (College Degree preferred)
Minimum one year in a customer service capacity
Working knowledge of computers (Excel, Word, databases)
Basic Mathematical skills
Entry-level knowledge of restaurant and music hall operations, food preparation and restaurant reservation procedures.
Written and verbal communication skills; time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize and work in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

THE JOB
Operations Supervisor will oversee the operations staff in-venue and support the operations manager in whatever tasks necessary.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
This role will be on predominantly show hours with very little Non Show hours.
Works directly with the Ops Manager and other supervisors to perform day of show duties
Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades

Greet all guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of the venue post-show, paying close attention to restrooms, floors, fixtures, and other high-traffic areas.
Remove debris and trash from guest areas, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the venue.
Restock restroom supplies and amenities as needed to prepare for the next day's operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, assisting with general cleaning duties as required.
Perform immediate repairs to equipment as needed, addressing any issues that may arise after the event.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure all equipment and event materials are properly stored and secured post-show.
Participate in sustainability initiatives, such as waste sorting and recycling efforts, to minimize environmental impact.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintenance tasks, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned to support venue operations and maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required, with relevant cleaning or maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Willingness to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
Previous experience in post-event cleaning or similar roles is advantageous.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Venue Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall upkeep, functionality, and safety of our event venue. Your responsibilities will include:
General Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system repairs.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and systems as required.
Maintain and repair interior and exterior structures, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
Event Setup and Support:
Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment, furniture, and decor for various events.
Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure the venue is prepared according to event specifications.
Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting and addressing any maintenance issues that may arise.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure the venue meets safety and regulatory standards at all times.
Perform regular safety checks and address potential hazards promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and safety inspections.
Repairs and Improvements:
Identify opportunities for facility improvement and suggest cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs and renovations.
Execute minor repairs and improvements, such as painting, carpentry, and minor structural adjustments.
Inventory and Supplies:
Manage inventory of maintenance and repair supplies.
Proactively order and restock necessary materials to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring manual labor.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The Role:
The Guest Service Manager is responsible for the overall management of all guest service functions at the venue.
Job Functions:
* Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines guest services staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
* Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff.
* Schedules and directs staff in their work assignments.
* Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures when necessary.
* Investigates and resolves all guest complaints. Interacts positively with guest to maintain guest loyalty.
* Moves throughout the venue and interacts with guests to provide information and respond to inquiries about products and services, takes or enters orders, cancels accounts, or obtains details of complaint.
* Responsible for actively ensuring complete guest satisfaction by checking to see if appropriate changes were made to resolve guest's problems.
* Keep record of guest service interactions or transaction, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken for resolution.
* · Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
* Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
* Work with scheduling payroll administrator to ensure that all staffing needs are met.
* Budget appropriately for each show's needs while working to reach the overall operating per/head goal
* Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to manage all operational processes within the annual facility budget.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
* Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
* Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
* Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable
* Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the bar
* Deliver food items and beverage orders promptly
* Prioritize and organize drink orders
* Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systems
* Record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar log
* Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager
* Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and HOB alcohol policies
* Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age
* Maintain HOB safety and sanitation standards
* Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to HOB policy
* Prepare guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and process payment according to HOB policy

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
* (State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
* Ability to work late hours

* Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
* Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork
* Physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed)

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Performs the Load-in & Out of band equipment and rental equipment
Set Up and Break down of Band and Event Equipment
Cabling and patching / working together with the entire crew as a team

Required:
