Supports in the management of the daily operations and staff of the Secuirty department.
Responsibilities:
Enforce the rules and policies of Worlds of Fun, Six Flags Entertainment, State Laws, County and City Ordinances.
Assist in maintaining a security presence on property by patrolling on foot or in a company vehicle and being observant and quick to report all incidents.
Demonstrate and continually train the Cornerstones of Safety, Service, and Cleanliness and the Core Values of Integrity, Courtesy, and Inclusiveness to each Guest and Ambassador.
Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the property, check areas for unauthorized persons or vehicles, unlocked doors, and fire and safety hazards.
Respond to emergencies promptly, evaluate the nature and severity of the situation, and act accordingly, including calling for assistance and interacting with local law enforcement and other EMS services if necessary.
Apprehend and hold individuals who are involved in criminal activity.
Write detailed reports of theft, injury, property damage, conditions of property, unauthorized person's on-site, etc. and be able to testify in court if required.
Perform inspections of all items brought into the park through the metal detectors.
Maintain control of Toll Plaza, Park entry and exits.
Escort guests and/or ambassadors as needed.
Ensure all Training Material is practiced in the workplace including Park, Departmental, and Private Security License/Updates.
Address Guest Concerns as they arise in the assigned location.
Always be professional and provide exceptional guest service by answering questions, giving directions and/or enhancing the guest experience.
Conduct training sessions to introduce new ambassadors to the department policies and procedures.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to existing ambassadors to enhance their skills and performance.
Provide oversight and subject matter expertise on assigned area of responsibility (i.e., training, records management, patrol operations, vehicle operations, emergency preparedness, guest screening
Qualifications:
· Class A Private Security License, unarmed, preferred.
· At least one year of supervisory experience.
· Must be available Days, Evenings, Overnights (Graveyard), Weekends, and Holidays.
· Must have a valid Driver's License.
· Must possess the physical and mental abilities to respond to situations quickly.
· Must have the ability to work indoors and outdoors and in all weather conditions.
· Must have the ability to stand, walk, and run for periods of time, as well as bend, squat, kneel, and stoop when needed.
· Must be able to read, write, and clearly speak English.
· Must be comfortable working with and interacting with guests.
· Must have the ability to interview people and write reports.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is beneficial.

Arrives for scheduled shift on-time, tucked shirt, neatly groomed, in a clean, pressed, well-maintained complete uniform
Verifies credentials to ensure control of access into restricted areas
Answers guest questions in a knowledgeable and helpful manner

Secures both ticketed areas and non-ticketed areas of the facility

We are looking for an experienced Security Specialist (1099 Contract) for our Security Operations Center (SOC) to help us elevate our corporate security function. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, this role will be for the weekend shift (9 am-5 pm on Saturday and Sunday plus two (or more) 8-hour weekday shifts.)
How You'll Support the Mission
* Weekend shift 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
* Weekday shifts (8-hours) will involve stand-in coverage at The Washington Post. Therefore, the candidate must be flexible with scheduling.
* Monitor video and data activity throughout the building using Security Operations Center's video and data processing technology.
* Act as the main point of contact between building security and WP security management during the weekend shift.
* Conduct regular security rounds/surveillance of the properties throughout shifts.
* Coordinate with the law enforcement officers, outside security firms, property management company, and the event management staff; checking IDs and badges; and resolving incidents quickly and efficiently.
* Act as a point of contact for all emergencies related to the company's security, business continuity, and safety, including medical emergencies, personnel issues, and security threats. Organize and direct emergency responses and supporting activities.
* Analyze loss control and accident reports. Conduct internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
* Identify gaps in security and safety protocols and develop policies and procedures to close the gaps and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Prepare and maintain all required security manuals.
* Partner with other functions throughout the company to implement and enforce security procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred; further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset
* Hands-on experience with surveillance techniques and technology (e.g. CCTV), as well emergency planning and response, is required

Works with Casino Managers, Security personnel, and others during investigations of incidents, accidents, work related injuries, and possible theft to determine a comprehensive “close watch” of any casino activity, guest or employee, when necessary, requested, or required.
Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
Maintains confidentiality regarding investigations, activities and other Surveillance room activities and duties
Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
Installs and maintains surveillance systems, as directed. Moves and/or adds cameras and recording equipment to conform to Colorado gaming laws. Performs preventive maintenance on surveillance equipment as needed, i.e., compressed air to remove dust from equipment.
Performs other duties, including special projects as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated experience performing surveillance operations, preferably within a gaming environment.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of state-of-the-art electronic video and audio surveillance systems, including hands-on experience performing bench work level repair and service.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from High School or equivalent.
Prefer experience working with surveillance equipment.
Additional electronics training is preferred.
Experience working in a gaming environment is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
Must be at least eighteen years of age.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
