In 2002, approximately 40 people led by Pastor Joey Thompson, felt a calling from the Lord to begin a new church called Living Hope.
On February 18, 2003, the church began to grow and formally became Living Hope.
The seeds of Living Hope were planted in the fall of 2006 when our founding pastor, Tim Dance, met a family in Southern York County with a vision for a new church in the community.
In June of 2007, about a dozen families gathered for their first worship service at the YMCA. While the Y started out as just a temporary place to meet, the partnership quickly became a long-term approach to reaching the community for Christ.
