Weigh cylinders filled with liquid products on platform scale and record weight. * Test cylinders for leaks by brushing or spraying chemical solution around valve. Record all necessary documentation and set a cylinder aside for settled pressure checks. * Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders. Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before cylinders are released. * Ensure cylinders are adequately maintained. This position involves physical labor, organization, and coordination in both the warehouse and outdoor storage yard. Assists on wash-up of the press per the Pressman's direction. Performs preventative maintenance on the press such as lubrication, replacement of small parts cleaning, replacing and setting roller adjustments and other items as required. Assists in clean up and in keeping the immediate work areas around the press neat and organized. Builds loads as required by Pressman or Shift Supervisor. Works paper as required for second pass work or feeding difficulties. Airs up printed stock as directed by the Shift Supervisor. Reads Material Safety Data Sheets and exercises proper handling and disposal of chemicals. Must work safely following all safety rules and regulations.
