    The Picker/Packer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the warehouse, including but not limited to picking and packing products. This role ensures that inventory is organized, orders are accurately fulfilled. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Essential Functions Ensure the fulfillment of customers' orders are processed accurately and timely. Responsible for staging orders appropriately for shipping. Ensures that the number and type of components are picked correctly for work order. Pack, stack and organize items properly in order to prevent damage and injury. Communicate product or stock outs to supervisor to ensure timely order selection. Re-stock inventory with manually operated equipment. Responsible warehouse housekeeping tasks as assigned. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as manually operated equipment, rolling ladders, and other material handling tools. Use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders, and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus. Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment and in a controlled temperature environment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, shifts time are based on business needs, specific to each branch location. Overtime may be required due to workload Travel Minimal. Required Education and Experience Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent. Ability to demonstrate basic math knowledge and aptitude to accurately pick customer orders. Preferred Education and Experience Experience working in a large distribution inventory environments is preferred. Knowledge or experience working with a warehouse management system.
