ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Receives coversheet and assigned cart for each series of orders, logs onto the voice system to begin the voice-directed picking process. Moves the cart through the product bin aisles and picks the corresponding products from product bins, places the correct product and quantity into the cart, placing small items into bags or bands together for easier identification.
Verifies product during the picking process and may verify during the packing process.
May maintain daily individual production records, which are reviewed by the supervisor, by writing down the time particular tasks are performed.
After completing the cart, returns cart to staging area and may begin the process of packing the customer orders by verifying products selected for customer orders and checking off as appropriate on packing lists.
Selects appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to avoid the bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery. Packs all orders neatly and correctly in a box to ensure quality. This involves packing glass items appropriately in bubble wrap, placing small items in a bag, and placing all liquids in a bag, and packing the standing upright. Follows proper packing procedures.
Reports any error in product selection or quality to appropriate team member or area and/or corrects the order as necessary before shipment.
Sends along conveyor system to the appropriate location for packing material to be added and the boxes to be sealed, then places packed customer orders on conveyor system to takes to appropriate location for shipment. Special orders are processed using the special order process.
Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).
Experience:
Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.

SUMMARY
Supplies and removes inventory to and from work cells in order to keep production operators working in an efficient manner. Assists the value stream leader in maintaining an organized and accurate inventory.

Refurb/Testing: This position is responsible for cleaning and doing simple cosmetic upgrades to cable boxes. This may include using hand tools (ex. screw drivers or electric drills) to remove/install covers, replacing screens, putting rubber stoppers on the bottom of the units, and some simple cleaning of the units. Cleaning the units involves using blower vacuums to remove dust and dirt, and wiping the units down with an all-purpose cleaning agent (Simple Green). Candidates in this position must be comfortable with standing for the majority of their shift, using RF handheld scanners, be able to lift up to 12 lbs (per box), have excellent manual dexterity, and have a strong attention for detail. This role requires some simple decision making skills because the refurber is responsible for visually qualifying a unit for what needs to be replaced.
This requires loading units onto carts or test trays, plugging them in to the test equipment, and running a computer program that either clears the box of any code, or runs the diagnostic testing. Candidates in these roles must have strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs, be very detailed oriented, have strong manual dexterity, and be able to self-manage themselves. This role requires time management between multiple test systems (ex. loading one tester while another is running). This may include using hand tools (ex. screw drivers or electric drills) to remove/install covers, replacing screens, putting rubber stoppers on the bottom of the units, and some simple cleaning of the units. Cleaning the units involves using blower vacuums to remove dust and dirt, and wiping the units down with an all-purpose cleaning agent (Simple Green). Candidates in this position must be comfortable with standing for the majority of their shift, using RF handheld scanners, be able to lift up to 12 lbs (per box), have excellent manual dexterity, and have a strong attention for detail. This role requires some simple decision making skills because the refurber is responsible for visually qualifying a unit for what needs to be replaced.
This requires loading units onto carts or test trays, plugging them in to the test equipment, and running a computer program that either clears the box of any code, or runs the diagnostic testing. Candidates in these roles must have strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs, be very detailed oriented, have strong manual dexterity, and be able to self-manage themselves. This role requires time management between multiple test systems (ex. loading one tester while another is running). Candidates must be comfortable with standing for the majority of their shift, bending to plug in units, and lifting up to 12 lbs (per box).

SUMMARY
Supplies and removes inventory to and from work cells in order to keep production operators working in an efficient manner. Assists the value stream leader in maintaining an organized and accurate inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Uses ERP system to make inventory transfers.
Supplies and stocks parts to production lines in order to keep production workers operating efficiently.
Conducts weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventories from generated counts, as supplied by logistics manager.
Creates new Kanbans under the guidance of the Value Stream Leader.
Uses ladders, forklift, hand-truck, and pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist product to and from warehouse racking.
Palletize Dampers with the assistance of others in order to pass off to Warehouse to prepare for outside storage.
Notifies the Value Stream Leader with potential shortages and other problems that could impact product availability.
Assist in training of employees to the Kanban system.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Participates in continuous improvement activities and workspace organization improvement.
Any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education High School Diploma/GED
Experience 1 - 2 years' experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment
