Warehouse workers perform an array of functions that might include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Warehouses are fast-paced and work around pickups from LTL and truck load carriers, and also customer pickups. In addition, to pickups, product deliveries from suppliers and vendors will have to be received, inventoried and put in proper storage locations. Workers are required to lift from 45 pounds to a maximum of 75 pounds on a regular basis, walk or stand for most of the shift, wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes. Warehouse workers operate forklifts, staplers, phones, faxes, and computers inclusive of Microsoft applications.
Responsibilities:
Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines
Receive, ship, store, and transfer material for use in manufacturing
Perform the related transactions for the stocking of material
Break down, clean, organize, and prep for manufacturing in accordance to procedure and production requirements
Assist with broad range of warehouse tasks, utilizing forklifts, pallet movers, drum dollies and carts. Transport materials to and from production areas
Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Assist Operators with various material handling duties.
Repackaging of materials, change and clean equipment. Empty drums, rinse drums.
Assist Operators with various material handling duties.
Coordinate, communicate and signal replenishment of material from the various stock locations to production.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Entry level to 1 year of inventory, warehouse, and receiving experience.
Materials handling experience
Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Communication skills necessary to coordinate activities among various parties, including internal and external customers and vendors

POSITION SUMMARY
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Picking Responsibilities
* The picking functions include, but are not limited to, using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Associates must efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas. Associates will stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities
* The quality control functions include, but are not limited to, using the appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly. Associates will verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies. Associates will stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products. * All Associates are responsible for executing all safety protocols and will accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.

Equipment Operation
* In performing assigned duties, the equipment used can include, but is not limited to, a pallet jack.
