Co-founded Loadsmart and responsible for all product strategy and development from day one. Working with a team of amazing people to revolutionize the logistics industry. First to launch truckload instant pricing/booking in the US (2015); first to launch One-Click load acceptance app for carriers (2015); first to launch instant pricing API for TMS integrations (2016).

Previously advised companies on corporate strategy and M&A in Brazil and New York for 8 years. Joined the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington to advise on sovereign guaranteed development projects for Latin American countries. Founded, developed and launched an online contest startup. Co-founded Loadsmart to help build a revolutionary product. Felipe holds Master degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (valedictorian), from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Spain - full scholarship) and an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (Brazil). He taught Enterprise Recovery and Restructuring for senior students during 2 years at the Federal University of Santa Catarina at age 25, where he was granted a Professorship Honor from the students. Passed the Brazilian Bar Exam among the top 6% and the New York Bar Exam among the Top 3%, working for one of the Top 5 most prestigious law firms in the United States.

He won for Loadsmart, together with its Lead Designer, the DOGA award for interaction design in Olso, Norway.

Felipe is an amateur photographer, plays guitar, piano and Brazilian cavaquinho, has been to 47 countries and was granted the Extraordinary Ability in Business visa from the US Immigration Department. He is always ready to discuss and learn from behavioral and evolutionary psychology, economics and development, history and art (but not the modern one).

Random fact: his UPenn colleagues granted him the Funniest Person award, and voted him to a first-place-draw as Best Cook and Most Likely to Appear on the Cover of Times Magazine.

Experienced engineering leader with a deep technical background and a passion for well-thought-out, scalable, highly reliable code. I'm able to bridge the gap between product and engineering requirements and have successfully managed large engineering teams around the globe using agile methodologies.

After a career in global finance, I chose to roll up my sleeves and build a company that addressed the inefficiencies in the freight space. I returned to my engineering roots and am applying everything I learned at Goldman Sachs to Loadsmart.

Loadsmart is revolutionizing transportation logistics by inserting transformative technology to reimagine the entire truckload shipment lifecycle. We are not happy with the status quo. We believe there is a better, more efficient and socially responsible way to move freight across the world.

I’m passionate about technology, innovation and improving the world and I firmly believe in learning by doing. I'm also energized about giving back in dynamic and collaborative settings. As a Georgia Tech alum, member of the Georgia Tech Foundation, ISyE Advisory Board and a \'Mentor Jacket,\' I'm able to participate in a thriving tech ecosystem which promotes creativity, entrepreneurship and progress.
