Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Mortgage LoanOfficer is responsible for originating quality residential mortgage loans while promoting responsible lending opportunities in alignment with NWB's mission. This position requires an active NMLS license and Idaho Mortgage Loan Originator license. The LoanOfficer guides borrowers through every step of the mortgage process, ensuring compliance with lending regulations, fostering community partnerships, and supporting long-term homeownership success through education and outreach. Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified LoanOfficer to join our HomeAmerican Mortgage (HMC) team. Responsibilities

Job Description
Each Guardian Mortgage LoanOfficer brings happiness and security to our clients by matching them to financially successful home mortgage loans in a timely, accurate and complaint manner.
Provide sales support and strong communication to customers, processors, and management from loan pre-qualification to loan closing.
Complete mortgage applications using GMC loan product system, including initial Mortgage policy and government regulations.
Maintain in good standing all LoanOfficer Licenses in State(s) for which LoanOfficer is authorized to conduct business and performs services.
Pre-Qualify potential borrowers according to policies and procedures and applicable law, collect and analyze each applicant's financial information and assess financial circumstances to determine whether applicant and property qualify for a particular loan.
Assist potential borrowers in identifying and securing a mortgage loan appropriate for individual financial circumstances.
Make inquiries of verified and documented information with respect to applicant's income, assets, investments, debt, credit history, prior bankruptcies, judgments, and liens, as well as characteristics of the property.
Advise potential borrowers of risks/benefits of loan alternatives, including options & variables. Obtain and present loan options for each type of loan transaction the potential borrower has expressed interest (e.g., a fixed-rate loan, adjustable rate loan, etc.).
Maintain high level knowledge of changes in market conditions, loan products & variations, and compliance.
Consistently hit ongoing deadlines regarding loan originations, etc.
Meet rules, obligations, timelines, and deadlines to comply with company policy, contracts, investor guidelines, lending programs, and state/federal law and regulation.
Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Processor to work at our Administration office in Rexburg, Idaho. This position works 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. The expected pay is $20.50 per hour, DOE.
Job Description
Assists mortgage loanofficers by preparing and processing their loan files.
Counsels the mortgage loanofficer on redisclosing the Loan Estimate; draws Closing Disclosure; and facilitates its delivery to the member while meeting time commitments.
Reviews residential loan applications to verify that application data is complete and meets credit union and/or secondary market standards.
Obtains verifications of employment, rent, payoffs, SSN, 4506T, tax transcripts, flood certifications, homeowner's insurance, LDP, SAM, etc.
Orders the title commitment from specified companies and directs the ordering of the appraisal through appropriate sources.
Helps facilitate and connect communication throughout the department.
Will actively engage in needs-based selling.
Qualifications
Six months to two years experience required.
Must be able to keep strict confidentiality.
Must be able to offer prompt, clear, and accurate communications with members and coworkers.
Must be able to complete all documentation with promptness and accuracy.
High school or equivalent education.
Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, computer terminal and keyboard, facsimile, calculator, and understands computer basics. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private or shared work area with minimal noise.
