Key Responsibilities: Perform a general evaluation of an application (financial documents, mortgage type etc.) Gather all missing data from loan officer (assets, debts etc.) Verify information and references by contacting the right sources Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies Act as point of contact between loan officers and underwriters Conduct a final review of the file before closing Outstanding communication and customer service skills Ensure you make timely and accurate responses to our loan partners and be willing to get on the phone to get issues resolved quickly. Basic Qualifications: Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Specific Qualifications: Proven experience as mortgage loan processor or similar position Experience with FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional is preferred but as long as you have experience in at least one of these loan programs we can help train in the other loan programs.
