The Housing Stability Program Loan Processor works directly with applicants and awardees to collect information needed to complete closing checklists, prepare loan documents, and guide borrowers through the closing process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Program Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect proper documentation from all interested parties to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process.
Coordinate, prepare, and compile all necessary documentation to ensure accurate and timely loan closings.
Request title work, appraisals, and other third-party reports from outside vendors.
Schedule internal and external loan closings and signings.
Maintain documents within the electronic filing system.
Assemble and prepare lien releases as necessary.
Assist in the review and preparation of various program reports.
Effectively communicate with all parties including awardees, co-workers, title companies, and all other department personnel via email, phone and in person communication.
Comply with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and complete mandatory compliance training by prescribed deadlines.
Provide program information, training, and technical assistance to interested parties.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and two year's relevant experience is required.
Preference may be given to candidates who possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real estate, or Business Management
Previous experience with escrow-related or mortgage processing
Knowledge of escrow documents, escrow fees, loan documents, and terminology

Job Description
The Senior Mortgage Loan Processor is primarily responsible for obtaining, reconciling, and validating all required documentation for a Mortgage application as defined by specific product, Investor, and compliance guidelines. How You'll Spend Your Time
* You will be the main point of contact for the borrower and be responsible for obtaining, reconciling, and validating all required documentation for a Mortgage application as defined by a specific product.
* You will be monitoring the files in process for 30-day activity status to insure that Regulation B Guidelines are enforced on all files, including final evaluation after complex analysis of completed application package and preparing for approval.
* You will input all appraisal information into the computer system to ensure that the underwriting department has all information to review and approve appraisal.
* You will conduct a thorough review of underwriting conditions with the borrower prior to closing the loan. Upon approval, you or the mortgage banker will contact the borrower to give the approval and confirm closing date.
* You will use your advanced knowledge of mortgage loan processing experience in supporting the processing team.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of advanced mortgage loan knowledge is normally acquired through high school and a minimum of 5 - 7 years of mortgage loan processing experience, which should include 6 years of prior operational support and/or loan documentation review experience in a mortgage lending institution or a real estate or title agency.

* Prepare commercial loan documents within the bank's portfolio to ensure adherence to lending regulations, lending compliance, and the bank's credit policy.

* Review collateral support documents such as title commitments.
* Confirm appraisal and/or environmental reports are completed with appropriate review/sign off (subject to regulatory compliance).

Prepare all loan documents using LaserPro in accordance with BancFirst Loan Policy and Procedures and Compliance
Input loan applications into DecisionPro
Assist lending staff with daily responsibilities, including document collection, closing, and telephone/personal interaction with customers and third party vendors to accommodate banking needs
Correspond with applicant to gather required financial information for the loan approval process
Maintain open communication with members of the loan department as to the status of the loan and with vendors, and any other required parties, to the loan transaction
Order preliminary title policy, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related data
Coordinate with loan officer regarding issues with the policy, UCC searches, and other credit related reports
Assist in obtaining updated financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, and other financial information to maintain the servicing file
Provide payoff information to customers or other organizations
Problem resolution
Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Previous loan experience
Proficient knowledge of BancFirst Loan Policy and Procedures, the Uniform Commercial Code, Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Federal Compliance Regulations, the training for which will be provided by BancFirst
Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines
Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times
Customer service oriented
Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
