Duties & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for the administrative duties of existing loans, including processing payments, generating, and posting payoffs
Monitoring loan maturity dates and reaching out to customers as necessary
A loan servicing specialist may also be responsible for initiating any necessary procedures for delinquent accounts. setting up or maintaining databases with loan records
Perform a variety of clerical tasks (including data entry and updating loan files
Prepare payoff statements and send to the customer
Ensure all applicable loan documentation is uploaded to image repository system
Handle loans that are complex in nature ensuring all documentation is complied with
Answer questions pertaining to all areas of loan servicing including payment research, loan maturity, payoff amounts, cross collateralization agreements, etc.
This position is responsible for maintaining and updating critical loan data within the servicing system
Respond to phone calls/emails regarding questions on loan payment/transfer letters
Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in Mortgage Terms- Promissory note, Deed Of trust, Appraisal - Preferred
Proficient in Word, Excel, and all Microsoft products

Point is looking for a Processor to join our team. You'll collect, review, and verify documents to close Home Equity Investments (HEIs), assist homeowners with their queries, and ensure all conditions are met for a smooth closing process. You'll work closely with title companies, cure title issues, and protect Point's lien position by managing title reports, payoffs, and documentation before closing
Your responsibilities
Review title reports for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
Work with cross-functional teams (account managers, underwriters, and closers) to successfully bring an application to a close.
Review entity documents, trust documents, and divorce decrees to determine proper curative steps to ensure a clear title.
Use skillset and knowledge of curative clearance to obtain the documentation required to clear title report and secure Point's lien position.

Working conditions
This position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone. The typical working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays required. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis and is at the discretion of upper management.

Advises members with new account and loan inquiries : Answers questions about consumer accounts and deposit and loan products, to include the products terms, and conditions.
Cross-sells and originates Consumer Loans applications: Gathers member information for Consumer Loan applications, explaining the features and benefits of different loan types, to help members understand their financial options.
Follow policies and procedures: Adheres to regulations, complying with internal policies, and maintaining a high level of ethical conduct.
Knowledge of Credit Union products and services: Maintains up to date knowledge of credit union products and services.
Strong organizational and time management skills: Manages multiple tasks and meets deadlines, while ensuring member applications are processed accurately and efficiently.
