Position Overview
HouseMax Funding is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Loan Processor to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Process Multiple Loan Products:
Handle all aspects of processing for HouseMax Funding's loan products, including DSCR and Bridge (Fix & Flip, Ground-Up Construction). Average file load of 20 to 25 each month
File Setup for Underwriting:
Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation; set up complete loan files for underwriting review with a goal of minimizing post UW conditions.
Coordinate Loan Processing:
Oversee and facilitate the movement of loans through the processing stage by working closely with loan originators, underwriters, title agents, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Borrower Engagement:
Daily proactive communication with borrowers via phone, email, and text to request documentation, provide updates, and answer questions.

The Mortgage Loan Processor (MLP) is responsible for processing all real estate applications originated by the Mortgage Loan Officers in accordance with internal credit union policies, procedures, and guidelines. Applications include conventional purchase money, refinance, cash-out refinance, home equity and home improvement loans. Most loans are retained in the credit union's portfolio, but others are sold on the secondary market. This is an extensive member service-oriented position with primary responsibilities for the accurate processing, validating information and documentation, and timely closing a mortgage loan file. The Construction Disbursement Administration (CDA) group is responsible for managing roughly 200 commercial construction projects simultaneously. Position Summary:
SolomonEdwards is looking for a Home Loan Specialist I for one of its mortgage clients to perform daily loan reviews to ensure the accuracy of loan findings. You will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.

Essential Duties:
- Perform routine data entry and validation tasks.
- Initiate third-party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.).
- Review and validate loan documents.
- Handle routine calls, emails, and/or chat responses.
- Monitor work queues and intervene as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- Demonstrate behaviors that are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred.
- General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local Regulations.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $20-24.

Duties and responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to all customers.
Process credit loan applications and use product knowledge to present loan solutions to current and potential customers.
Maintain office cash with accuracy and proper security.
Grow account volume through good judgment and effective customer solicitations in the branch and by telephone.
Minimize delinquent debt through calling customers and collecting on past-due accounts.
Receive, track, and post all payments and fees to customer accounts in compliance with Company Policy.
Transport money and deposits to and from bank.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Prior customer service experience in either a sales/retail environment or cash management environment.
