As a Transactions Specialist I within JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for processing transactions which can include moderately complex tasks. You will be expected to adhere to established procedures and guidelines, while maintaining production targets with accuracy. Job responsibilities
Process and clear transactions in accordance with established procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Respond to customer inquiries and requests, such as balance inquiries and account maintenance, providing a positive customer experience.
Utilize automation technologies to optimize transaction processing and account servicing.
Refer non-standard problems to supervisor or more senior role, adhering to the protocol for non-routine issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable product definitions and operating procedures, including upstream and downstream process flows.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in transaction management, with a focus on processing, clearing, servicing, researching, and settling transactions.
Demonstrated ability to follow prescribed instructions and procedures, with minimal variance from guidelines and protocols.
Developing proficiency in automation technologies, with the ability to apply these to support and implement transaction optimization initiatives.
Developing proficiency in customer experience, with an understanding of how customers interact and perceive a brand or business throughout the entire customer journey.
Basic skills in using data analytics to spot transaction trends and improve processes, and in using digital tools for transactions.
High school diploma or GED required.
Physical requirements: sitting up to 95% of the time, standing up to 10% of the time, lifting up to 5% of the time and up to 50 pounds, walking up to 10% of the time.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Beginner-level ability to handle conflicts in transactions and use automation to make processes more efficient.
Basic experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate transaction reporting and suggest new ideas for improvement.

Processing of Insurance claims, flood, requests for re-amortization and removal of PMI and/or escrow as well as other daily paperwork received
Processing and balancing of Escrow (Insurance, claims, flood, taxes, PMI, etc.)
Monthly delinquency reporting of consumer mortgage loans to upper management and outside agencies (FHA, VA, FHLMC, FNMA, PMI companies, etc.) and all tasks associated with filing of claims for any federally or privately insured mortgage loan
Process requests related to Credit bureau reporting, inquiries and disputes of consumer loans to ensure compliance with federal regulations
Other general clerical duties. Provide highest level of quality service. Significant customer contact with internal and external customers

• Review and key file maintenance and fee waivers for core bank system.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Progress to Retail Loan Boarding Level II role, by successful completion of necessary training and testing.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank's values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
