Job Description
As a Loan Servicing Specialist III, you'll be responsible for processing and validation of a diverse range of monetary transactions, maintenance activity, and/or boarding operations related to consumer, commercial and complex loans spanning the footprint of the bank. Your duties will require the application of problem-solving skills, independent analysis, and sound judgment. These skills will be instrumental in offering support and delivering exceptional customer service to our various internal business partners across all markets, external customer and/or syndicated member lending institutions. Analyzes loan agreements, loan worksheets, and commitment reports to complete appropriate system boarding. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation and integrity of our loan servicing processes, ensuring that the loan functions as required on the loan system.

How You'll Spend Your Time
* You will oversee and share responsibility for both consumer and commercial loan portfolios, providing backup as needed.
* You will enter and maintain loan data, evaluate documents, and service complex commercial loans.
* You will manage daily transactions, ensuring accurate distribution or collection of funds and providing detailed documentation.
* You will work with Credit Administration to reflect credit deterioration accurately and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
* You will coordinate daily workflow, train staff, and maintain extensive contact with business partners to resolve complex issues.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Associates Degree in Business or related field of study and/or 5-6 years of experience in loan production or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Advanced knowledge of loan operations and bank related operations, including loan policy
* Advanced knowledge of loan systems processing
* Thorough knowledge of federal and state lending guidelines and regulations
* Advanced understanding of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, TILA, RESPA, SCRA, FCRA, UDAAP, BSA and other state and federal regulations and policies effecting loan operations
* Advanced understanding of Bank policies and procedures
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of complex loan documentation with the ability to interpret documentation language, structure, specifications, and requirements.
* Advanced understanding of complex mathematical calculations and accounting principles as applied to loan processing.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
* Prepare commercial loan documents within the bank's portfolio to ensure adherence to lending regulations, lending compliance, and the bank's credit policy.
* Review prepared documents for accuracy and consistency with approval requirements.
* Review collateral support documents such as title commitments.
* Confirm appraisal and/or environmental reports are completed with appropriate review/sign off (subject to regulatory compliance).
* Process, review and upload complete loan and collateral files to ensure that established standards are met, including compliance with federal regulations and adherence to Bank lending policy as well as ensuring that the Bank's security interest is established, and our lien position is upheld.
* Process all commercial loan modification requests which includes checking file for check-in & prepare documentation; renewal, deferral, modification
* Process and complete all commercial denial/fallout applications
* Provide support to Loan Officers/Lending Team to process the loan according to established policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory issues including but not limited to TRID, RESPA, FDPA, HMDA, HPML, and Regulation B.
* Independently prioritize workflow to maximize production turn around and minimize administrative delinquencies.
* Work stale dated loans in system for decline/withdraw completeness
* Assist management in the preparation for and during audits and exams.
