Description The Consumer Loan Processor performs consumer loan processing functions including document collection and organization, auditing, and quality assurance. Solicit, review and audit supporting documents for full completion and accuracy
Organize complete loan application file and submit for loan fulfillment
Document loan application status and member inquiries as appropriate
Respond to and resolve a high volume of member loan inquiries, both written and verbal
Collaborate with peer Processors, Loan Fulfillment Associates, and other internal and external points of contact in loan processing
Essential Skills:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years' experience in customer service, financial services experience preferred
Familiar with the use of loan calculators to execute basic financial mathematics including simple interest calculations and amortization schedules
Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines in a high-volume production environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to apply sound independent judgement
Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) with all levels within organization
Excellent listening skills with ability to ask probing questions to determine member needs and overcome objections
Proven skills and commitment in meeting or exceeding member expectations and requirements
Some knowledge of lending practices and industry standard processes, including Bank Secrecy Act regulations
Familiarity with regulatory policies and procedures, including SCRA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, FCRA, and MLA is preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Reporting to the Outlet Operations Warehouse Manager, the Salvage Processor II is responsible for assisting in the overall processing of salvage materials at one of the Goodwill outlet locations. Clear any conditions that require communication to title companies, appraiser, employers, surveyors, etc.
Collect all necessary items needed to prepare the Closing Disclosure (CD), and ensure timely drawing and delivery of the CD in order to meet the expected close of escrow.
Ensure closing instructions and documents have been released to title 72 hours before closing, and a final settlement statement is issued to the Loan Officer or team 48 hours prior to closing.
Review all closing statements and compare to signed Good Faith Estimate (GFE) before signings, and correct discrepancies where needed.
Meet with clients to sign loan documents.
Send out correspondence including thank you cards, closing cost calculations, etc.
Coordinate closing details with clients.
Maintain a detailed conversation log for each file.

Prefer a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mortgage lending preferably in processing
Working knowledge of loan program guidelines including conventional, jumbo, and government loan programs including FHA, VA, USDA, DPA, Bond loans as well as Non QM loans.

This position is the first step into becoming a licensed loan officer in a direct-to-consumer sales environment with an exclusive, high converting lead source. You will provide sales support to our top loan officers while learning about different mortgage products, qualifying customers, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be taking live calls and gathering pertinent information prior to transferring them to the sales floor. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Review mortgage applications taken by licensed loan officers; assist in collecting, uploading, and labeling documents within our Loan Origination system. Order disclosures, prepare income calculations, run automated underwriting, prepare, and scrub files prior to submitting to underwriting.
Troubleshoot loan files. Become an expert in loan programs and qualifications.
Take inbound live transfer calls / make outbound phone calls and gather the necessary information and commitment to transfer them to our sales floor. Provide excellent customer service to GoodLeap customers.
Attend daily training in preparation for your promotion into sales or take NMLS test.
