Position Title: Mortgage Loan Closer Reports To: Director of Mortgage Processing and Servicing Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt Location: Wichita West
Position Summary: To perform duties related to the processing and preparation of mortgage loan disclosures, documents, and post-closing documents. Position is primarily focused on ensuring data integrity and quality of loan information while providing back-office support to loan officers to facilitate a smooth and timely loan closing. To maintain exceptional customer relations, provide timely assistance, and promote Bank products and services whenever possible. Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Preparation and delivery of loan disclosures: initial and final closing disclosures.
Ensures appropriate underwriting standards are followed.
Ensures that approval falls within the established lending guidelines.
Communicates with other professionals, including attorneys, county clerks, insurance agents/companies, and title companies, as necessary to facility the processing of loans.
Communicates with and provides customer service to external customers such as current borrowers and loan applicants.
Prepares mortgage loan documents for loan closings. Reviews documents for accuracy to facilitate timely loan closing.
Submits files to QC for pre-closing third party review and clears conditions as necessary.
Communicates suspected fraud and discrepancies to the department manager and/or fraud department as applicable.
Recognizes and maintains adherence to compliance with all banking regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the BSA/AML Program at all times.
Maintains a high level of customer service through proactive communication with internal customers, i.e. loan officers, assistants, and other team members.
Works in a team environment to achieve overall bank goals and objectives, providing support to other team members as assigned.
Ensures loan quality and data integrity through administering the conversion and ongoing imaging process and review of post loan documentation.
Performs daily functions related to daily tracking items in the mortgage lending process.
Coordinates with investors on secondary market loans, reporting, and funding requests.
Provides daily updates to loan staff regarding exception items.
Manages and understands collateral perfection processes such as Assignments of Deposit Accounts and Mortgage filings.
Works within a designed process centered on the functionality of computer software.
Completes assigned daily and weekly reporting tasks to support department operations.
Maintains ongoing completion of training and utilizes training and other regulatory and policy resources to complete tasks.
Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
Supervisor Responsibilities: N/A Education and Experience Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required. Two years of mortgage loan processing experience required. Experience with Encompass preferred. Understands Federal, State and Union State banking rules and regulations. Specific Skills Required: Ability to communicate, written and verbal, effectively with people both internally and externally. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve problems. Organizational and time management skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain daily loan transactions. This includes taking payments and advance requests by phone, mail, email or fax, and preparing all appropriate transaction entries for loan and participation activity.
Assist loan officers and staff, including inputting customer profile data into various Loan Department software, and maintaining updated information on each account/customer. This includes the input of new loans, and maintenance of loans already existing on the system.
Maintain all loan files: to include scanning and preparing new files, monitoring all documents loaded to SAFe, and ensuring all incoming documents are disbursed to the appropriate parties.
Prepare and distribute daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and notices to customers.
Assist in preparing and reviewing loan documentation on new or renewed loans. This includes typing loan documents, generating documents needed for proper perfection and/or correction, and reviewing loan documents generated by customer banks for accuracy and completeness.
Manage setting up new users in SAFe and provide support to customers who need assistance with the system, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain the loan tracking system. This includes tickling UCC's, insurance, financial statements, etc. on existing loans and inputting new loans on the system. A monthly report will also be generated and follow-up will be required to obtain or request updated loan documentation.
Timely completion and returning of audit confirmations and FinCEN requests.
Manage the department's meeting calendar, sending out appointments and updates as needed.
Take minutes during department and committee meetings, preparing the final report for management.
Compliance. Ensure compliance and audit requirements are met as identified by internal policy and/or Federal rules and regulations - e.g. OFAC, BSA/AML and Privacy.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

The Cash Logistics Processor Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Check in all work and cash through window
* Verify cash, perform data input into iTrack, mix and check for all deposit types including check only, CompuSafe, ATM, Recyclers and mixed
* Process check imaging into FIS system
* Balance all individual teller sells
* Validate bulk pull and fill each order by packing slip.
* Complete checklist according to established deadlines for each major function throughout the day
* Clean off stations at end of day, bundle trash according to specified procedure, sort deposit slips, ensure no work is remaining, print check manifest and make sure deposits match
* Ensure all imaged work and teller paperwork is delivered to the appropriate areas and/or filed appropriately

The Qualifications You Must Have:

Processes requests for verification of deposit and other credit inquiries.
Provides internal and external customer service from direct, emailed, faxed, or phone requests. This includes research and response in a timely, positive and professional manner.
Completes special projects as assigned by Loan Operations Management.

The Cash Logistics Processor Role:
In branch locations around the world, we're doing the critical cash accounting work that keeps modern commerce moving. Our work is essential, so our team members are essential. We verify bank deposits, prepare cash shipments and connect money from one place to the next. We do it because it makes us proud - #BrinksProud. As a Cash Logistics Processor at Brink's, you'll work within our branch locations to account for the cash and valuables we transport to banks and businesses worldwide.
This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Check in all work and cash through window
+ Verify cash, perform data input into iTrack, mix and check for all deposit types including check only, CompuSafe, ATM, Recyclers and mixed
+ Process check imaging into FIS system
+ Balance all individual teller sells
+ Validate bulk pull and fill each order by packing slip.
+ Complete checklist according to established deadlines for each major function throughout the day
+ Clean off stations at end of day, bundle trash according to specified procedure, sort deposit slips, ensure no work is remaining, print check manifest and make sure deposits match
+ Ensure all imaged work and teller paperwork is delivered to the appropriate areas and/or filed appropriately
+ Follow any direction provided by supervisor and/or manager
The Qualifications You Must Have:
+ 18 years old or older
+ Minimum of 3 months experience in any cash handling, inventory control, deposit processing, vault processing, account reconciliation, ATM processing environments or being a Cashier or Teller
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.

+ Cash handling experience in secure logistics or banking industry
+ Basic computer skills

Responsibilities and Expectations
The Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for preparing loan documentation in accordance with lending policies and procedures. * Loan Documentation

* Review and interpret Corporate Documentation and Trust Documentation
* Review and interpret Attorney Prepared loan documentation
* Prepare Commercial and Agricultural loan documents including but not limited to Corporate Resolutions, Security Agreements, Guaranties, Participation Agreements, and Loan Agreements as required, in accordance with the loan policy, written approval, compliance rules and regulations
* Review supporting loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Review lien perfection on all types of collateral including real estate, titles, equipment, and UCCs
* Other Loan Documentation Support
* Prepare Loan Modifications and Loan Maturity Extensions
* Process collateral lien release documents for Consumer and Commercial paid loans
* Review and verify HMDA and CRA reportable information
* Compliance
* Required to adhere to lending policies and procedures, as well as disclosures required by government regulations
* Adhere to Uniform Commercial Code Article 9, Secured Transactions
* Perform other duties as assigned or required
Required Skills & Education
* 2 years of college preferred or equivalent experience
* 3 years loan documentation experience or contract preparation experience preferred
* 1-2 years of financial services industry experience
