About the Role:
In this role, you will process and fund bank approved SBA 7(a), USDA, 504 and other government guaranteed loans as assigned by the SBA Closing Director. Work with borrowers, production staff and third parties to ensure timely and accurate loan closings. Collect and review documentation, perform borrower, entity, and loan related searches, perfect loan collateral, and ensure proper documentation of loans as specified and approved by the Bank and the requirements that fall within the Standard Operating Procedures of the Small Business Administration and other Government Guaranteed Loan Programs.
Identify and collect documentation in support of and as specified within the banks' loan approval. Plan tasks and workflows to meet closing deadlines.
Order Flood certifications, IRS Verifications, Site Visit reports CAVIRs, OFACS, UCC Searches and other reports as required. Review insurance documents to ensure proper type and coverage for each transaction.
Verify and determine the amount and source of borrower injection funds.
Review Purchase and Sale Agreements, Real Estate documents, entity documents of potential borrowers and related entities to ensure compliance with bank and SBA requirements.
Prepare lenders instructions and coordinate loan closings with escrow and title companies.
Perform loan related searches on individuals, entities, and collateral.
Responsible for accurate ordering and generation of Laser Pro and SBA documents.
Coordinate closings between borrowers, Bank Associates, Certified Development Companies, and escrow/title companies as necessary. Facilitate loan funding and the subsequent follow up for all post-closing documentation items.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others within the team.

About You:
H.S. Diploma/GED
4-7 years of SBA closing experience and knowledge of SBA loan program requirements or equivalent work experience, required.
Basic knowledge of SBA, Standard Operating Procedures, and USDA requirements.
Ability to comply with bank policy and procedures.
Experience working with SBA production staff and underwriters.
Ability to actively manage 3-5 loan files on an on-going basis, with adherence to bank established Closing Service Level Agreements.
Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness, with the ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of personal computer and related software packages, including but not limited to, MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other business machines standard in the industry.
Ability to work under pressure and organize own work with guidance from Supervisor.

Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Loan Officer to join our HomeAmerican Mortgage (HMC) team. Responsibilities
* Take loan applications from Builder home purchasers at applicants' request.

* Present HomeAmerican loan products and services to Builder personnel and sales offices on a weekly basis and through seminars presented at Builder's weekly sales meetings.
* Contact all Builder home purchasers to present loan products and services. Calls also will be made on co-op realtors where applicable.
* Prepare marketing and loan program information files for Builder sales and management personnel.
* Prepare and distribute application packages and other materials as necessary.
* Work closely with branch manager to determine schedule, sales skills and other support areas such as wholesale brokering of loan products.
* Maintain close contact with branch processors, closer, receptionist, etc. to coordinate and confirm appointments, calls, applications, loan status, etc.
Requirements
* Must have recent prior VA, FHA, and Conventional loan processing or solicitation experience for a minimum of two years.
* Technical knowledge relating to mortgage banking compliance, FHA, VA, conventional and non-conforming guidelines required.
* Must be able to perform calculations to determine house payment, interest rate, ratios, etc.
* Be licensed for loans in Idaho.

Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Loan Officer to join our HomeAmerican Mortgage (HMC) team. In this role you will originate loans primarily from Richmond American Homes (“Builder”), as well as originating “spot” loans from other sources (i.e., other builders, real estate agents.) You will also coordinate processing and closing of these loans.
Responsibilities
Take loan applications from Builder home purchasers at applicants' request.
Educate and guide applicant through loan process. Answer questions and resolve problems that may develop with loan file.
Present HomeAmerican loan products and services to Builder personnel and sales offices on a weekly basis and through seminars presented at Builder's weekly sales meetings.
Contact all Builder home purchasers to present loan products and services. Calls also will be made on co-op realtors where applicable.
Prepare marketing and loan program information files for Builder sales and management personnel.
Prepare and distribute application packages and other materials as necessary.
Work closely with branch manager to determine schedule, sales skills and other support areas such as wholesale brokering of loan products.
Maintain close contact with branch processors, closer, receptionist, etc. to coordinate and confirm appointments, calls, applications, loan status, etc.
Requirements
Must have recent prior VA, FHA, and Conventional loan processing or solicitation experience for a minimum of two years.
Technical knowledge relating to mortgage banking compliance, FHA, VA, conventional and non-conforming guidelines required.
Must be able to perform calculations to determine house payment, interest rate, ratios, etc.
Be licensed for loans in Idaho.

The Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) educates, advises and guides potential borrowers through the loan application process. Proactively solicits new residential mortgage business and participates in cross-selling Frontier's other beneficial products and services to help our members achieve financial success. Continually identifies, develops and maintains a quality network of business relationships including real estate professionals, builders, internal staff and member referrals that serve as a recurring source of new and additional mortgage lending opportunities. Participates in related community efforts. The MLO is responsible for assisting in attaining other established organizational and departmental goals, provides leadership, training and support to other loan officers and staff members. Essential Functions:
Responsible for mortgage loans, including origination, title searches, appraisals, credit reports, and flood search, etc. Follows through inception period to closing after all supporting documents have been legally filed and returned to the Credit Union. Follows up on mortgages, trust deeds and title policies.
Meets with members to obtain information for mortgage loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
Interviews prospective borrowers in order to understand needs and determine the most beneficial products and services.
Explains different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as product pricing and the terms of services.
Enters borrow information into lending system, provides borrower with proper disclosures and additional required information.
Analyzes members' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Reviews members' credit history, financial statements, and other applicable information to ensure it adequately supports loan request.
Computes payment schedules and explains interest calculations, terms and payments to others as needed.
Submits all loan applications for verification and recommendation to underwriters or management, in accordance with Credit Union lending policy.
Assists with the completion of initial disclosures and ensures that the disclosures are reviewed with the borrower(s), properly signed, and properly delivered to processing
Maintains a thorough knowledge of all lending policies and procedures.
Actively participates in the solicitation of loan business and cross-selling products to members in person or by phone; within and outside of standard credit union operating hours.
Develops and maintains excellent internal relationships and provides team members with basic mortgage understanding and effective techniques to make mortgage referrals.
Handles member complaints and takes appropriate action to resolve them.
