Essential Responsibilities * Review custodial exception reports and identify any material and/or fatal exceptions * Ensure loan level trades contain the necessary collateral to be cleared for settlement * Coordinate the creation of Assignments of Mortgage and facilitate the recordation with servicers and other applicable vendors * Perform weekly collateral reconciliation, work with sellers to obtain trailing documents and assist vendors in curative work * Communicate clearly with our originator network to rectify outstanding exceptions * Provide detailed updates to the originator network in a timely manner Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in whole loan collateral and custody. * Knowledgeable in the creation and recording of Assignment of Mortgages and Mortgage related documents * Bachelor's Degree preferred Desired Characteristics: * Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize accordingly * Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with Senior Management regarding the progress and results of projects and initiatives * Ability to identify material defects and troubleshoot accordingly * Ability to work effectively under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment Eligibility Requirements: * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation * Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States * Must be willing to work additional hours as needed to complete deadline driven projects * Must be willing to work in Dallas, TX on-site four days a week.
