Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Boarding Specialist to join our client's Commercial Loan Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate boarding and ongoing servicing of commercial loans, including participation loans, into the FISERV Navigator Premier core system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial loan products, participation loan structures, and regulatory requirements, along with hands-on experience in system data entry, quality control, and exception management for loan boarding and servicing functions.
This position is remote, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm EST.
Essential Duties:
Accurately board commercial loan transactions-including participation loans, new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions-into the FISERV Navigator Premier system.
Manage all aspects of servicing participation loans, including payment processing, rate adjustments, remittance processing, and principal balance reconciliations.
Validate the accuracy of loan terms, collateral details, pricing, and documentation prior to system entry.
Collaborate with loan officers, credit teams, and documentation specialists to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data completeness.
Maintain participation loan records, including participant allocations, interest accruals, and payment distributions, in compliance with participation agreements.
Perform quality control reviews and post-booking audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
Monitor boarding pipelines to ensure timely and accurate boarding within established service level agreements (SLAs).
Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation and providing timely responses.
Identify system issues, recommend process improvements, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades and enhancements.
Assist with special projects related to loan operations, including documentation updates, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial loan operations, loan boarding, loan servicing, or loan documentation.
Direct experience in boarding and servicing participation loans within the FISERV Navigator Premier system is required.
Strong knowledge of commercial loan products, participation loan structures, collateral types, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
High attention to detail with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and data entry skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with imaging and workflow tools is a plus.

Successful Candidate Attributes:
· Proven track record developing referral partner relationships with Realtors, CPA's, Financial Planners, etc.
· Maintains a database of past clients for marketing purposes.
· History of closing at least 3-5 units per month.
Loan Officer Requirements:
· An active NMLS/MLO license (required).
· Strong knowledge of lending regulations and industry best practices.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex financial information.
· Sales-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving targets.
· Detail-oriented and organized.
· Proficient in relevant software and tools.
