    The Business Applications Commercial Loan Administrator I understands Commercial Lending processes and technology, and is responsible for providing system administration, technical guidance, and support services within the Bank's Business Applications team. This role will work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to develop, implement, and maintain solutions ensuring efficient and effective processes with minimal customer and user disruption. This position supports our users to deploy new products and software solutions efficiently in their production environment with minimal disruption and in alignment with the strategic need of the organization. Duties & Responsibilities * Perform basic administration of nCino platform and security settings, including, but not limited to: * Monitoring alerts and changes from Salesforce and nCino. * Analysis, planning, testing and implementation of related projects and tasks. * An understanding of nCino business rules, forms, tools, users, permission sets, groups, profiles, objects and fields, and roles. * Manage nCino enhancements. * Create, update, and manage nCino support cases including researching documentation, clearly defining the issues, and working to a resolution. * Provide support for internal users. * Educate business units on new nCino features. * Support platforms such as Salesforce, nCino, Jack Henry Xperience, and other applications as needed. * Perform system installations and maintain parameter configurations for Commercial Lending platforms; troubleshoot and resolve software problems and performance issues. * Analyze business processes by completing thorough documentation of issues, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to streamline leveraging process improvement and automation strategies. * Partner with Lines of Business to identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements. * Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors. * Serve as a liaison between the Business Unites and support additional systems and special projects as needed. * Leverage existing and third-party technology to support effective and efficient lending processes. * Design, document, and implement solutions by creating or modifying system workflows, dashboards, and reports to continuously improve data quality, process integrity and productivity. * Create and maintain Commercial Lending system end-user setups and permissions. * Identify and communicate risks related to process and configuration changes while analyzing requirements and developing solutions. * Ensure change control and operations procedures are followed for production updates. * Identify third-party integration opportunities to lending systems, bank core and supporting systems; Trouble shoot and resolve issues with existing interfaces. Education & Experience Knowledge of: * Office automation equipment, including phones, computers, and related software, including proficiency with using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * A general understanding of commercial lending systems and financial services, including CRE, C&I, Construction lending, and basic knowledge of SBA and consumer lending. * Lending policies, workflows and technologies * Data mining and statistical analysis * Proven capacity to understand complex business and technical concepts. * Strong organizational skills. Ability to: * Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. * Communicate clearly, both written and verbally, throughout all team member levels. * Support upgrades and implementation during non-business hours. * Exhibit attention to detail and agility to solve problems. Education and Training: * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience) preferred. * Minimum 1-2 years' experience administrating nCino LOS for a medium to large user base (200 - 499 users); Ability to interpret and change existing system configurations, including but not limited to: rules, triggers, forms, and workflows. * 1+ years Salesforce (FSC preferred) or nCino administration experience; experience with configuring with Lightning Experience a plus. * nCino Administrator certification preferred. * Project implementation and solution engineering experience. * Experience a plus. Compensation and Benefits Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. About the position The Loan Closer/Processor guides congregations and other ELCA ministries through the process of closing, providing coaching for borrowers and timely, accurate due diligence to facilitate a successful closing while ensuring completion of all duties in compliance with MIF's loan policy and procedures. This is a full-time, regular, exempt (salaried), Chicago-based hybrid position. This position has responsibilities that will require being in the office on a weekly basis. This could mean 2-3 days most weeks and possibly more days when meetings and other events are happening that this position supports. The eligibility of a candidate for remote or hybrid positions may depend on the residency of the candidate, and the budget for the role, including salary or pay, insurance coverage, and/or tax burden. Candidates for this position must reside within the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. 1. Order or prepare loan documents according to the credit approval, internal policies and procedures as well as various regulations upon loan approval. Review loan documents prior to being executed, review executed documents prior to funding, verify all outstanding conditions have been met, and fund loans according to deadlines. Verify completeness of files with all necessary documents and required signatures. 2. Serve as the point of contact for ministries, title officers, escrow officers and attorneys. Work with lending staff to resolve discrepancies in collateral documentation. Perform review of commercial loan and collateral documents and loan packages to ensure MIF's security interest and adherence to established policies and procedures. 3. Send documents to ministries for signatures. Work with ministries to ensure all proper documentation is obtained to complete the loan process. Follow up with borrowers, attorneys and title companies regarding collection of executed documents. 4. Review all closing documents to ensure they are properly executed, recorded and received. Send executed documents to title companies for recording. 5. Prepare modifications/buydown legal documents for recording and follow-up on returned legal documents before and after recording. 6. Follow up with any outstanding conditions and audit all funded files prior to submitting to the file room. Scan all necessary information and documents as outlined in the loan department procedures. 7. Serve as a primary point of contact with borrowers and build lasting relationships. Achieve and maintain general knowledge of other aspects of MIF which may include providing customer service and selling MIF products and services as needed. 8. Perform other duties as required. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or residential loan processing Basic knowledge of lending processes and procedures, loan documentation, exceptions, collateral review, payment and loan systems.
