This position's primary duties are to scan and index all loan documents, post-closing review, exception tracking, and file collateral documents.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that loan documents are scanned and indexed in accordance with bank guidelines, and ensure that all documents are properly executed
Reviews TE's (technical exceptions) upon scanning of documentation, researches and clears when applicable
Perform limited post-closing review for necessary documents
Maintains original bank defined documents
File Lien Entries, UCC and EFS financing statements
Works existing UCC and EFS TE's and other TE's as assigned
Has the ability to handle moderately complex issues/problems; refers more complex issues to senior staff
May assist with training other employees in the department
Ability to communicate well with various levels
Provides support for other functions or roles
Additional Functions:
Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary
The Loan Input Specialist plays a pivotal role in the bank's lending process by ensuring accurate and timely data entry of loan information into the bank's loan management systems. SUMMARY
The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist position is responsible for preparing and reviewing loan documentation for commercial real estate loans, preparing commercial loan modifications, and providing support to Community Banks for commercial non-real estate loans while ensuring federal regulations and internal policy and procedures are met.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
* Prepare commercial loan documents within the bank's portfolio to ensure adherence to lending regulations, lending compliance, and the bank's credit policy.
* Review prepared documents for accuracy and consistency with approval requirements.
* Review collateral support documents such as title commitments.
* Confirm appraisal and/or environmental reports are completed with appropriate review/sign off (subject to regulatory compliance).
* Process, review and upload complete loan and collateral files to ensure that established standards are met, including compliance with federal regulations and adherence to Bank lending policy as well as ensuring that the Bank's security interest is established, and our lien position is upheld.
* Process all commercial loan modification requests which includes checking file for check-in & prepare documentation; renewal, deferral, modification
* Process and complete all commercial denial/fallout applications
* Provide support to Loan Officers/Lending Team to process the loan according to established policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory issues including but not limited to TRID, RESPA, FDPA, HMDA, HPML, and Regulation B.
* Independently prioritize workflow to maximize production turn around and minimize administrative delinquencies.
* Work stale dated loans in system for decline/withdraw completeness
* Assist management in the preparation for and during audits and exams.

* Maintains a professional work/copy room environment.
* Assists other departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide outstanding member service and contribute to overall team effort.
Fully understand and actively assist members in using credit union products and services.
Contact delinquent accounts to request payment, record promises on accounts and schedule follow-up contact.
Notify co-signers of delinquent accounts according to due dates.
Initiate appropriate follow-up action on mail retuned as undeliverable.
Prepare correspondence on delinquent accounts that require special handling.
Skip-trace accounts according to established practices.
Research disputed delinquent account balances; correct any errors, including misapplied payments, reversed late charges, direct deposit errors, and overpayments from insurance errors.
Refer additional products and services as appropriate.
Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience.
Six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish preferred.
