Essential Functions-
Safely drive and operate automated recycle truck on regular route to service roll carts and commingle recycle bins located at residential customer accounts
Must ensure accounts are serviced quickly without leaving any messes
Will collect all extra recycle materials set out for collection
Will notify office of any service issues with customers
Will travel to Recycle Center to unload contents of truck and perform clean out procedures of compaction body after dumping load.
Will perform daily inspection of vehicles driven.
Will perform daily maintenance on automated arm of recycle truck.
Report any vehicle defect needing correction to shop coordinator.
Required Experience & Abilities-
Must be able to pass DOT drug screen test
Possess a valid driver license and have a clean driving record for past three years
Meet company driving standards and comply with fleet safety policy
Work independently in absence of supervision
Understand and follow work orders and other oral or written instructions
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with those contacted in the course of work
Communicate with all levels of personnel and management using good verbal and written skills
Knowledge of safe work practices and basic knowledge of truck components.
Ability to perform strenuous physical work with heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling in outside weather (heat, wet, or humid conditions)
Physical Demands-
Work safely at fast pace all day while exiting and entering the cab up to 200 times per day
Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs. load consistently all day
Must be able to push/ pull carts weighing up to 150 lbs.
Must exit truck at accounts with recycle bins to dump bin and load other recycling as needed
Education or Equivalent Experience -
Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of truck driving experience. Formal training may be substituted for some required experience
Class B CDL drivers' license is required

Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsibly and safely operate semi-truck and trailer hauling hazardous liquid materials over-the-road.
Execute daily goals, plans and direction given by the dispatcher
Conduct all pre-trip, post trip and other regularly required equipment inspections, reporting any problems or potential problems as required.
Immediately report any truck problems to the manager to avoid potential hazards or breakdowns.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed (in-house and DOT).
Communicate with and assist customers on the schedule of scheduled deliveries.
Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded properly.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
Organize, manage and complete daily delivery paperwork/digital data uploads
Responsible for ensuring all legally required safety measures are properly implemented during operations, including but not limited to the proper installation of tire chains, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to road safety protocols.

Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads tanker/totes with lubricant products, both bulk and various package styles adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
Operates box truck and stake bed trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws. Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, keep nozzles and other related articles as necessary.
