If you live within our hiring area, you could be the perfect dedicated driver to add to our team! Some of the best parts of being a dedicated driver are getting home for a 34 hour reset each week, and driving an average of 1500 miles per week.
In addition to mileage pay, you'll earn $250 to unload the trailers. As a bonus, you will receive $125 weekly, for the required three unloads. That's around $1,725 per week every week and up to $126,000 annually.!
As part of the dedicated team, you'll run freight to various stores and hand unloading the trailer.
A trailer can have anywhere between 1 -6 stops. Our delivery area includes VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, OH, and WV - all within 700 miles of the Front Royal, VA distribution center. 100% of freight will be live unloaded at stores.
Runs will include nights, weekends, and holidays that fall within your workweek. We require a min of 3 loads a week.
If you choose to join the team, you'll go through a short orientation to help get you started on the right foot. And you'll get paid to do it. You'll attend at least 2 full shadow runs, to learn the unload process. This pays $150 per day.

About the Role
This is not a typical driving job. As a full-time Medical Transport Driver (Pathology) at EPIARX, you'll be responsible for transporting deceased individuals between funeral homes and EPIARX's laboratory location, ensuring each transfer is handled with care, discretion, and professionalism.
This is a full-time, non-exempt W2 role. Hours vary based on case volume and routing needs, with paid overtime for all hours over 40. Evening, weekend, and occasional overnight availability is required. Longer-distance trips (e.g., DE, PA, NJ, NY, NC, WV) may occur approximately 1-2 times per month.
When not actively driving, you may assist with vehicle readiness, inventory checks, or light administrative support.

Maintain transport vans in clean, operational condition, stocked with required supplies
Assist with transfers and related documentation during pickups and deliveries

Tessera is seeking an experienced and reliable Tractor Trailer Driver with a professional attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Operate tractors, semi-trailers, full trailers, trucks with dolly converters, and full trailers more than 24,000 lbs. GWVR.
All services for heavy trucking involving equipment/material movement off-station shall be done in accordance with NRLINST 4600.1H.
Transport heavy construction equipment as well as overweight and oversized loads.
Provides medium trucking service for vehicles less than 24,000 lbs.
Performs cargo delivery as assigned.
Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and ensures equipment is fully operational.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Vehicle Operation field; Equivalent combination of experience and education is permitted.
Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
Valid CDL-A with passenger endorsement is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance company. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required.
Candidate must meet federal guidelines to be considered for this position - Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug screening, medical examination certification, and cleared query with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
