Pinnacle Propane Express (PPE), a division of JP Energy Partners is a full service provider of propane grill cylinders for exchange for retailers and/or distributors. PPE has production facilities, districts, and depots in its marketing areas that refurbish, deliver, and distribute to the retailer. In addition to propane cylinders, PPE provides services such as quality storage cabinets, safety protection, safety and marketing training, and unique marketing branding enabling the retailer to provide point of purchase sales of both exchange and new propane grill cylinders. Currently, PPE services 48 states. Job Description Job Purpose: The Pinnacle Propane Express truck driver provides propane cylinder delivery to customers in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining awareness of customer satisfaction and public safety. Description of Essential Duties: Load trucks with propane cylinders Deliver propane cylinders to assigned route Routes are designed to sell or exchange 300-550 tanks a day, it is physically demanding Properly fill out driver logs and daily paperwork and mail paperwork to the main office daily Complete assigned routes in a logical sequence ensuring all delivery times are met and working at a steady pace while delivering the propane cylinders, maintaining safety. Perform all truck maintenance, on a daily basis, verify all safety supplies are on the truck, keep inside and outside of truck clean and orderly, and notify manager of any issues that need to be fixed. Maintain positive friendly working relationships with all customers, meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations. Our team is growing. We need 17 Class A Flatbed drivers. You must have at least 1 year OTR experience in the last 3 years. With 6 months of that being Class A Flatbed experience. Your experience must be with a 53' trailer. All of your past Flatbed experience must be verifiable. Meaning the past employers must be in business and available to give you a reference right away. Our Flatbed team must have experience hauling steel pipe or flat steel on a flatbed trailer to qualify. Must have experience with straps,chains & binders. You'll be home every weekend tarping approximately 40% of loads getting an additional $30 per load when tarped. Your comfort and safety is job one. New equipment and state-of-the-art trucks are arriving all the time. Plenty of miles. Dedicated lanes are opening up constantly now. Our running area is east of the Mississippi. No NYC. To be approved drivers will have… At least 1 year recent OTR experience in the last 3 years with at least 6 months of that being flatbed experience. OTR experience is defined as driving in at least 5 states besides your own spending the night in the truck. Drivers will be at least 22 years of age with a Class A license in good standing. You must have an excellent driving and job history. Terminations due to safety will not be approved. No more than 7 jobs in the last 3 years. Must have a clean background and be able to pass all DOT tests. Our drivers are hauling building materials, aluminum pipe, and coils, ingots and steel. Coil experience not necessary, we will train you at orientation. Orientation starts on Monday. You will get dispatched out on Thursday. We take care of all your meals and travel expenses.
