Job Description
Position Summary:
The Associate Project Manager (APM) is a member of the insightsoftware Global Project Management Office (PMO) who demonstrates a customer first mindset, recognizes the value of teamwork, results orientation, disciplined execution, and has a winning attitude. The APM will build positive relationships with customers and serve as the primary point of contact for software implementations. The role will include, but is not limited to:
Leading and working with technical and business consultants to ensure the successful delivery of software implementations for ISW customers.
Applying the requirements of the Global PMO methodology, standards, and processes.
Working in collaboration with Professional Services Practice Leadership in the successful delivery of a range of key projects and objectives.
Be able to multitask, managing several projects at different lifecycle stages, while following excellent project management practices.
Undertake various project management responsibilities including engaging with customers and ISW stakeholders, project planning, scheduling, follow up, reporting, risk management, and budget.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an analytical, problem-solving capability.
Understand the “big picture” and manage complex and changing situations while maintaining a positive view towards delivery.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Significant, recent experience (1 to 2 years) as a project manager or coordinator managing software implementation projects in a challenging environment.
Proven track record in the delivery of multiple simultaneous projects; experience in working closely with customers, senior stakeholders, external parties, and project teams.
Experience in working with external customers, preferably in a Professional Services or related environment.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of small projects.
Excellent communication skills and strong professionalism.

* Develop and maintain positive customer relationships. Deliver presentations of project status to effectively communicate throughout the project lifecycle.
* Adhere to Highmark project management methods, project lifecycle methodologies, and audit requirements. Support and contribute to the improvement of project management methods and practices.

About the RoleStrong project management is a key element of client success at RainFocus. Our project managers are given the autonomy, authority and responsibility of owning and driving project execution and value creation for our clients.
The Project Manager is a member of our client services team and works closely with clients and internal teams to deploy RainFocus software in support of their event lifecycle. This role plans and drives project implementation; identifies and manages project scope, goals and deliverables; defines tasks and required resources; and disentangles escalations to ensure achievement of project timelines and positive client outcomes.
This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States of America. Total travel could be up to 20% average 5-7 days in a row. The nature of the travel is being onsite at client events, which may include weekends. Travel may also include post-conference meetings or other client-driven meetings. However, this role will be needed to work 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST.How You Will Contribute
Planning
Align with clients on key project milestones
Build and maintain project plans[1]
Identify and manage dependencies, risks and priorities
Coordinate multiple work streams to remove obstacles
Participate in pre-sales planning as a member of client account teams
Identify and engage appropriate resources across client and RainFocus teams
Communications
Document project activities and status
Communicate formal weekly status to client & RainFocus stakeholders o Communicate with event steering teams and executive-level committees
Co-facilitate workshops with clients and solution consultants and architects to define configuration requirements and capture action plans
Solicit feedback from clients and team members to drive prioritization
Coordinate post-event reviews between client and RainFocus account team
Surface decision points and escalations to stakeholders to remove obstacles
Change management
Provide change management support for first-year event clients
Ensure necessary training is provided to clients and partners to ensure effective adoption of new processes and technology
Identify impacts to the necessary roles or responsibilities within client teams and escalate resource constraints where needed
Project controls
Manage expectations, scope and priorities of implementation
Ensure that all project artifacts are captured and maintained
Monitor and manage project financial performance against targets
Manage and present change orders for customers to identify tasks and deliverables outside of the original scope of work project plans
Qualifications
4+ years project management experience including skills in software implementation, schedule, cost, and risk management
Ability to utilize various project management tools to coordinate and manage complex projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills
Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Smartsheet
Highly self-motivated, autonomous self-starter with excellent follow-through, and takes ownership
Strong technology acumen and a love of researching new solutions to enhance the event experience and improve event operations
Experience working in a consulting environment or client-facing role
Experience designing large-scale complex solutions without losing sight of the details
Highly detail oriented with proven ability to document systems and processes
Must be able to work 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST.

Your role
The Project Manager has direct accountability for the assurance of successful execution of industrial cleaning and or emergency response operations, as well as direct responsibility for overseeing all aspects of large projects and/or outage work. The Project Manager's overall accountability is to ensure customer responsiveness and customer satisfaction; achieved by providing high quality industrial cleaning services focused on safety and our customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer service through both customer interface and business operations, specifically the support of the operation's process with a focus on training, as listed below:
What you will be doing
Act as a safety and environmental champion, lead by example, participate in health, safety and environment activities and correct/coach unsafe conditions and behaviors among subordinates and others.
Drive change with a focus on safety (goal of zero accidents) and continual improvement.
Train and mentor Field Service staff on the operation and maintenance of waterblasting and related equipment, including automated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation; provide input to the general management regarding performance evaluations for individuals.
Support outages and special operation's projects, as needed; meet with Branch Managers or designated Supervisors, as applicable to communicate customer requirements and review the daily job schedule; discuss priorities - changes, equipment availability, etc. to best meet the customer's needs.
Work with manager or designated Branch Manager, or Supervisors, as applicable to resolve customer complaints and service problems in a timely manner, while maintaining/improving customer satisfaction.
Ensure all daily job tickets are accurately input into the mobile tablet system and all items used to perform the work are properly captured and submitted to Admin for billing.
Discuss and review planned or proposed work with the assigned manager to ensure the necessary resources are available to meet budgetary goals and achieve customer satisfaction.
Ensure employees are working in the most cost-effective manner to complete the job/task in the best interest of safety and customer satisfaction.
Ensure employees are complying with all company policies and procedures, including adherence to all safety rules or best practices, attendance, substance abuse, theft, willful or neglectful damage to company equipment, uniforms, and all company rules and regulations.
Motivate and train Field Services staff to ensure safety compliance and efficiency, continued growth, and professional development; promote the use of automated equipment to replace manual set-ups to further drive safety and efficiency.
Update knowledge and skills to meet the needs of a changing customer and service line mix.
Ensure the company image is developed and maintained favorably with customers and suppliers.
Regularly communicate with manager regarding the current status of assigned projects
Support and assist management in any other functions as may be deemed important and necessary for successful location or division operation.
Other work-related duties will be assigned by Employer from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in the Environmental and/or Industrial Services industry, preferred
Minimum of 2 years as a Senior Technician, preferred
Ability to operate vacuum trucks, waterblasters, steamer units and other associated equipment
