Everything but the pay. Poor ethics, poor work delegation skills from management unfair treatment of employees based on relationship to management. Hard work goes unnoticed unless you have relations with management, no promotions unless you have relations with management.

I was able to get hired as a level 2 Sys Admin and was promoted to level 4 Software Engineer after I proved myself. Able to get Security+ certification and Security clearance.

I accepted a lower-paying and less challenging position to get myself in to prove myself by actually doing the work.

Similar to my IBM experience it was equal to most Fortune 500 company standards.

LM appeared to go out of its way to hire minorities, women, and people for the LGPT community and would not allow any open discrimination.

What brings you the most joy at Lockheed Martin?

When I was called in and successfully solved technical problems that others had failed at. Through these tasks and repeated performance success I achieved the title of Linux and Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) becoming the go-to person on these subjects along with SELINUX.
