The ideal candidate will have experience working with both metallic and non-metallic materials, operating manual and CNC machine tools, and utilizing CAD software. You have a solid understanding of machining principles, including dimensions, tolerances, and feeds and speeds. You are proficient in operating manual and CNC millers and lathes, and have experience with CAD software such as Mastercam or AutoCAD. As a new Full-Time CNC Machinist at Visioneering, Inc., you can expect a hands-on experience that involves operating CNC machines with precision. Your daily tasks will include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality Aerospace components. You will work closely with senior machinists to ensure adherence to strict quality standards, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment when necessary. Your schedule will consist of night shifts, working Sunday to Thursday from 6 PM to 4:45 AM, along with additional hours on Saturday from 6 PM to 12 AM. This structured routine allows you to maximize productivity while collaborating with a dedicated team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and skill development within the Aerospace, Space, and Defense sectors. ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THE CNC MACHINIST POSITION? To excel as a Full-Time CNC Machinist at Visioneering, Inc., candidates should possess a strong foundation in machining principles and CNC operations.
