What You Will Do:
This position is in the Engineering department of the West Palm Beach GTF MRO Engine Center. The position will act as the primary interface with Operations for the overhaul and repair of GTF Engines for Customer Support Engineering. What You Will Do
Work from procedures, preliminary sketches, operations sheets, layouts, complicated drawings, written engineering, supervisor or lead mechanic or electronic work instructions.
Layout, fabricates, assemble, and modify jet engine assembly or test articles, test stands, equipment, and support systems. Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly/components or test equipment/test components.
Operate a wide variety of tools to assemble/disassemble a jet engine or APU or operate support utilities to run the test article. Check all phases of assembly/disassembly including inspecting critical functions for final inspection ensuring adherence to quality standards. Monitor instrumentation and perform engine service during test.
Assist in the training activity of not more than two other team members during the assembly/disassembly or test process to ensure safe operation.
Complete appropriate documentation/sign-off in assembly/disassembly or test procedures as required.
After assembly, ensure test article is prepared for delivery to test cell.
Perform basic instrumentation troubleshooting for test. Reconfigure or repair test stand, test systems and test equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain test facilities, support systems, and special test equipment. Inspect, maintain and complete necessary reporting on equipment, facilities and support systems. Remove instrumentation, equipment and utilities to de-prep, dismount, and preserve test article for shipment.
Ensure all functions are performed according to Pratt & Whitney, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality policies. Perform other related work assignments as required or directed by supervision and/or lead mechanics that support department objectives.

What You Will Do
Perform complex and somewhat difficult hand or machine sheet metal operations to form, fit, fabricate and repair a variety of complicated developmental aerospace details, parts, assemblies and related tools. Assist other trades in fabricating complex major assemblies involving sheet metal operations or techniques.
High degree of attention to detail and ability to provide quality work.
Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, bending rolls, and punch and drill presses to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
Safely utilize hand tools including, grinders, drills, hammers, punches etc.
In depth knowledge and skill in a wide variety of measurement tools.
Ability to create a drawing or sketch from an oral description of an object or objective.
Capable to Read and Visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints.
Understand basic math and be able to visualize 3d design. Ability to work in adverse conditions; Confined spaces; working at heights from ladders and/or man lifts; working with an aging infrastructure.
Preferred candidates will have 5+ years' experience in sheet metal fabrication and a familiarity with facility maintenance
This is an Onsite position on 3rd shift. Midnight - 7:00am , Work 6.5 hours and get paid for 8 hours.
Qualification You Must Have
High School Diploma or GED.
2 + years trades training.
Ability to operate sheet metal working machines and use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as Rotary Tables, Micrometers, Vernier Calipers and Trammel points.
Qualifications We Prefer
5+ years' experience working with Sheet Metal
1+ years' experience with use of shop mathematics including trigonometry and geometry and the ability to work from complicated drawings and sketches.
1+ years' experience with use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, protractors, calipers and dividers.
Under direction of Leader/Supervisor make and repair sheet metal parts and assemble structures using welding, riveting, seaming and other standard metal joining techniques.
Work from drawings and sketches or verbal descriptions to layout work, obtain material and tools and setup and operate metal forming and cutting equipment.

What You Will Do
Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components
Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
This process may involve surface plate work or standard measuring techniques to verify accuracy of parts, tools, gages, or other equipment.
The Inspector will be accepting or rejecting material based on findings.
Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
Work with other pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and/or visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment.
Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings.
Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments including automated measuring machines.
Program instructions are well-defined will be checking dimensions and record results.
Perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
Follow Proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions and make sure that operation sheets are being followed.

Primary Job responsibilities:
Manage a group of multi-disciplinary analysis engineers supporting current development programs, production programs and follow-on pursuits for air breathing propulsion RAMJET and SCRAMJET product lines. The manager will ensure that the technical plans meet the program requirements, scope, and cost/schedule constraints. In addition, she/he will actively manage their direct reports in areas such as safety, job expectations, quality of work, career goals, mentoring/coaching, and Engineering Department accountabilities. Job Responsibilities

The Secure Computing Digital Technology team is looking for a motivated Enterprise Applications Analyst to work within our Application Services group.
The Enterprise Applications Analyst position works closely with customers and team members on application packaging, distribution, installation, configuration, testing, and support on various test and production networks.
The role will be responsible for a variety of application types including engineering and business applications.
This position will include support of enterprise PLM (product lifecycle management) and MES (manufacturing execution systems) deployed on various test and production networks. This position may require approximately 10% after-hours duties on a monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of Teamcenter Application Rich client, Active workspace, Teamcenter reporting and Analytics including, Volume, Dispatcher, and Web Tier Servers.

Key Responsibilities:
•Work from complicated drawings, operation sheets, and general instructions of supervisor to set up and operate jig boring and horizontal boring mill machines and related machining centers
•Plan and perform less difficult and complex boring, milling, drilling, reaming, grinding and other machining operations, including modifications, salvage, and repair operations on all types of development hardware
•Determine setup for numerical control or manual machine operation. When not specified, select the most effective work holding methods and devices to hold various shaped parts and assemblies
•Machine locating diameters on face plate, drill locating holes in holding fixtures, and make or have made holding fixtures and devices, plugs, adapters, spacers, and other holding aides, adapting available devices when existing tooling is inadequate
•Pick up reference points check location of internal and external devices and pertinent centerlines
•Shift and shim part to position so that all surfaces will clean up and wall thickness will be specified
