As a Principal LogisticsSpecialist, you will be an integral member of the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team, working closely with internal team members and key stakeholders, including customers and program leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed Logistics Supportability Analyses, provisioning data for parts, and conducting spares analyses to ensure hardware availability across a specific product line.
Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. The organization is comprised of multiple disciplines that support engineering teams, program offices, and our customers. LCE disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product life cycle-from initial concept and design through deployment, sustainment, and eventual deactivation.

The LogisticsSpecialist at Roku will be responsible for assisting in the management of various aspects of the logistics including forward, reverse, and trade compliance operations for our TV and streaming player products.
This role is essential for ensuring efficient supply chain operations, product distribution, returns processing, and repair workflows. This role will focus on optimizing transportation, managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
What you'll be doing
Support day-to-day import and export compliance for Roku products, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions
Assist with HTS and ECCN classification research; update and maintain the internal classification database and materials lists
Coordinate with customs brokers and 3PLs to provide clearance instructions, respond to holds, and verify entry accuracy after release
Monitor shipment status for customs clearance and resolve exceptions by gathering missing data or correcting documents
Validate valuation, Incoterms, and country of origin on invoices; flag discrepancies and support post-entry corrections when needed
Help with ACE/AES data entry for exports where applicable; save ITNs and other proofs of export for recordkeeping
Maintain organized records and SOPs; ensure all trade files meet retention requirements
Collect supplier origin/FTA certifications (e.g., USMCA) and support annual eligibility reviews and renewals
Track and report basic compliance metrics (e.g., entry accuracy, clearance cycle time, screening outcomes) and highlight improvement opportunities
Partner with Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Sales Operations, and Logistics to embed compliance requirements into purchase orders and shipments

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Life Cycle LogisticsSpecialist to join our team in Fort Belvoir, VA to support our customer, Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2).
: The Senior Life Cycle Logistician will be responsible for providing product support analysis, document prep & fleet management in support of assigned O-6/O-5 PM programs to achieve Milestone decisions, reduce life cycle costs and sustain efficient operations.
Duties:
Performs logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.
Develops and implements logistics program activities including but not limited to:
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
Technical documentation.
Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses.
Provisioning, etc.
Coordinates efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel.
Resolves logistics problems.
Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
Provides Life Cycle Logistician services embedded within subordinate PM E2S2 Product Management Offices to manage acquisition logistics in support of assigned programs.
Provides acquisition life cycle logistical support to PM E2S2 Product Managers for the development of product support analysis and statutory/regulatory documentation for assigned programs of record to support type classification, materiel release and successful milestone decisions.
Performs acquisition logistics duties related to the conceptualization, initiation, design, development, test, contracting, production, deployment, product support, modification, and disposal of weapons and other systems, supplies, or services to satisfy DoD needs, intended for use in, or in support of, military operations.
Develops and maintains program Logistics Product Data (LPD).
Develops, updates, verifies and validates technical manuals and/or technical publications.
Assesses impact of capability enhancements, technical insertions, modifications and/or other system configuration changes on system product support cost and effectiveness.
Conducts appropriate cost analyses to validate the product support strategy.
Plans and implements Logistics Demonstrations.
Participates in Product Support Management Integrated Product Team (PSMIPT) meetings and develops draft logistics documentation/analysis, for example the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), to support program Acquisition Milestone Decisions in accordance with CDRL A005, Reports, Record of Meetings/Minutes.
Required Skills & Experience:
Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience in Army materiel management and logistics support.
DOD 5000 Series experience desired.
Required Clearance:
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Area of study in Engineering, Physical Science or Business Administration/ Management preferred.
At least ten (10) years of experience in relevant activities.
An additional ten (10) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

The LogisticsSpecialist supports pre/post logistics functions for particular Ship Via categories as assigned; including but not limited to scheduling pickup of product, coordinating with customers, outbound dock scheduling, reporting of performance and metrics, and exception management.
Your Impact
Capable of managing daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for a Ship Via within Shipping SAP in conjunction with other tools.
Manages paperwork development that serves as primary documentation for loading functions.
Ability to process orders for assigned Ship Via's for all domestic, international and special shipments.
Works with the Shipping Supervisor and Team Leader to facilitate schedule and level load planning.
Works with Team Leaders through various shipping processes to facilitate schedule conflict resolution.
Works with logistics team to facilitate proper shipping documentation.
Communicates directly with customers to confirm order shipments as required by the assigned Ship Via.
Reports daily to various departments.
Works directly with customers, sales, and outside logistics groups to resolve shipping conflicts.
Follows required safety and work procedures.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area to 5S Standards.
Implement all aspects of Grain & Protein Technologies Lean and Quality Management systems.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Your Experience and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous Shipping / Receiving / Supply Chain experience preferred
Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
Solid math skills
Ability to read, write
Strong aptitude with computers and various systems, multi-line phones, email communication
Aptitude with Microsoft Office and the like.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and across departments.
Strong analytical ability.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
