Executing required action plans needed to resolve system-level issues Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments Participating on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and process improvements Participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Assuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Working with a variety of engineering organizations and contributing to the development of the engine systems and designs Providing the opportunity to understand and apply detailed physics to analysis of engine components Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering an accredited University or College 8-10 years of experience in an aerospace or mechanical engineering position. 5+ years of relevant test experience Experience with both military and commercial engines desired. Experience leading teams Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship Ability to travel out of state to cover engine test for a minimum of 15% annually Located in Cincinnati, or willing to relocate Desired Characteristics Current secret clearance desired.
