**Role and Responsibilities**
+ Manage business metrics for forgings and materials.
+ Partner with Quality Manager(s) to provide support to Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) and Suppliers to drive metric improvements.
+ Mentors and facilitates Team Members for emerging QEMs, and other aspects of Supplier Quality and Quality Manager's roles.
+ Utilize Zero Defects and related problem-solving tools to develop and manage action plans to meet key metrics.
+ Develop and implement supplier quality standards and processes for forgings and materials.
+ Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with GE Aerospace's quality requirements.
+ Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
+ Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and prevent recurrence.
+ Continuous Improvement:
+ Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve supplier quality and reduce defects.
+ Partner with suppliers to implement process improvements and enhance product quality.
+ Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on quality standards.
+ Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring supplier readiness and capability.
+ Ensure suppliers meet regulatory and industry standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant certifications.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of supplier quality metrics, audits, and corrective actions.
+ Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain related to forgings and materials.
+ Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
+ International and domestic travel up to 15%
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years quality and/or sourcing experience or a high school diploma/GED + minimum of 5 years' quality and/or sourcing experience

You will be leading a global team focused on New Product Introduction and Continuation Projects focused on Rockwell Automation's Software and Firmware Quality. You will develop comprehensive quality strategies and roadmaps, working with engineering, anomaly management and continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities:
* Drive shift‑left practices and partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Manufacturing to embed quality, safety, and security early in the lifecycle (requirements, design, verification) to gain alignment and support for quality initiatives
* Own quality KPIs (defect escape rate, anomaly backlog, MTTR, release quality, technical debt metrics) and drive continuous improvement toward targets.
* Establish and scale repeatable release governance, release categorization (patch, hotfix, minor/major), and triage processes to reduce risk and improve deployment predictability.
* Implement and operationalize tooling, dashboards, and data pipelines (e.g., Power BI, Jira, test automation frameworks) to provide real‑time visibility and predictive signals for quality issues.
* Convert VOC and stakeholder feedback into prioritized COE initiatives, playbooks, and process standards adopted across business units.
* Represent Product Quality in executive forums and communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
* Champion customer advocacy by enhancing product and process robustness and Sponsor major cross‑BU initiatives and act as the primary quality escalation path for high‑impact customer issues.
* Establish and maintain quality metrics and dashboards for leadership visibility
* Standardize development processes to elevate software quality
* Coach teams in structured problem-solving and performance optimization
* Lead resolution of complex quality issues with urgency and precision

The Essentials - You Will Have:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.

The Senior Quality Operations Leader will be responsible for enhancing the C&SC Quality Strategic Action Plan, MORs, WORs, developing strategic actions aligned with tactical projects to meet and exceed the part family metrics.
