Purpose:
Identifies, analyzes and translates business needs into relevant HR technology solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports of one or more HR technologies including Payroll, Benefits Administration, Human Capital Management systems and/or other HR systems, with an emphasis in Benefits Administration.
Identifies customer requirements, develops test schedules, reviews testing plans, tracks and documents development results
Solicits client requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures
Uses industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client requirements such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data modeling and object modeling
Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools
Conducts and analyzes existing business and information technology processes to identify areas of improvement.
Makes recommendations for necessary changes on projects that come in from other departments
Creates, modifies, maintains, and schedules procedures and reports using various report writing tools
Assists in identifying areas of potential business risk and communicates these to the Project Leader
Demonstrates knowledge of assigned HR technologies and relevant industry trends

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent working experience
Experience:
2+ years business experience in a support or other relevant work experience
Preferred work experience in retail or supply chain industry and/or IT Other
Skills/ Abilities:
Ability to work independently and mentor other associates
Understanding of the business use of HR technologies including Payroll, Benefits Administration, HR hiring management systems and/or other HCM systems
Demonstrates an understanding of Company core values reflected in personal conduct and in the support of HR technology initiatives
Demonstrates strong and effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey concepts, systems, procedures and how they apply to HR technologies
Must be an experienced desktop application user
Must be passionate about customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency when dealing with customer issues
Must have ability to work in cooperation with others to achieve desired results
Ability to negotiate and manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
Preferred SQL/Query report writing abilities
