seeking a full-time Early Career Satellite Systems
Engineer to join our team. In this dynamic role you
may support a 24/7 crew or work as part of a day
staff team within Flight Operations, contributing to
critical customer missions. The successful candidate
will have experience and/or knowledge of on orbit
spacecraft operations, and basic understanding of
orbital mechanics.
To be considered, you must be flexible and willing to
work rotating shifts. We will provide you with
comprehensive training and certification through our
extensive education program, building on your
existing engineering skills to equip you for success in

Please note that this role requires a security
clearance, which can take approximately 7-14

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
As part of the rotary die cutter machine crew, rotates responsibilities between stacking, packing and palletizing finished product and feeding raw material into machine. Responsible for safely performing the responsibilities of the job and ensuring quality products are manufactured at a consistent rate of speed, in accordance with machine standards, while achieving daily production goals.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Reviews job ticket instructions and verifies palletizing information to verify box count, skid count, labeling information, and all other customer specifications.
Safely sets up and starts up the shrink tunnel machine and conveyor system and maintain machine centers per machine standards.
Receives finished product from shrink wrap tunnel and ensures that product is securely sealed; will assist other packing lines in other departments with stacking and palletizing as needed.
Labels each case appropriately and stacks off on skid per job ticket instructions.
Upon completion of stacking the entire skid, prints finished goods load tags, verifies correct information, and adheres tag to the completed job to prepare for shipment.
Rotates the packing and stacking duties on a daily basis with the feeding responsibilities of the Assistant Operator, as directed by Supervisor.
Upon successful set up and startup of machine, and as directed by Supervisor, performs a daily rotation with Assistant Operator to perform the feeding job duties of the machine; responsible for inspecting raw material for defects, gathering and feeding raw materials into rotary die cutter machine and print units, and safely and consistently maintaining product flow to maximize efficiencies and achieve daily production goals.
Actively performs all SCT Quality procedures and standards including required quality checks and sample pulls ensuring customer specifications and quality standards are consistently met; actively works with the crew to ensure quality of the product meets all standards and customer specifications.
Records productivity and information about the job within the manufacturing computer system, accurately completes production reports and records production data including start and stop times for all crew members, count of finished goods produced, and raw material used.
Reports all issues with equipment, dies, or raw material to supervisor or maintenance department.
Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and assists in repair of machine malfunctions; performs routine cleaning, and maintenance.
Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines; uses situational awareness and actively looks for weak signals to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions; consistently wears appropriate PPE for the task at hand and within the assigned area; immediately notifies Supervisor of any unsafe condition that exists.

Job Summary:
Perform tasks necessary for maintaining continuous materials supply at each machine to enable efficient operations.
Job Duties:

Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain forklift certification in accordance with internal company and OSHA standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Assistant Operator is the last set of eyes that sees the sheet before it arrives at the customer. The following are some of their duties:
Visually examine each sheet of plastic, before stacking it on a skid, looking for any quality imperfections
Remove sheet from line and stack on a skid while manually keeping an accurate count of each sheet stacked
Once the skid is full, complete the packaging process which entails shrink wrapping, cutting lumber to frame out the sides and corners, using a banding machine to keep the sheets of plastic tightly packaged
When the line switches from running one type of product to another, you must assist with the start-up and shutdown of the line. This includes any roll changes, die disassembly, cleaning and reassembly
Must be capable of operating and cleaning the grinders, as needed
Operate RF handheld and labeling systems as required for the position
Use a forklift to put away full skids in their appropriate places
Physical Demands:
Ability to push, pull, lift or carry 35 lbs.
Ability to stand for entire shift
Ability to climb stairs
Able to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, or twisting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.
•Manufactures parts to customer specifications and tolerances.
•Operates load robot, changes program, and resets faults.
•Operates and resets stacking robot, proper program, basket/pallet change.
•Supervises the Loader assigned to unit when robot is down.
•Conducts on the job training of everyone assigned to their unit.
•Performs job changes on their unit.
•Keeps records of changes or adjustments needed to produce parts to company/customer specifications.
•Spells the Loader, when necessary, through break periods when the robot is unavailable.
•Checks and refills coater tanks per work instructions.
•Removed tags from pallets on the stock conveyor before they get to the robot.
•Checks the condition of the material, heat, and part number on the stock conveyor.
•Watches for heat changes.
•Prepares tooling prior to job changes.
•Repairs cutters and ensures ready for use.
•Calls Maintenance and supervisor when problems develop.
•Maintains the necessary supplies needed.
•Maintains quality of the parts being produced and make corrections when necessary.
•Records daily production on downtime log.
•Make checks on the Ultrasonic inspection machine and records on appropriate form.

•Ensures that Loader has all necessary and related safety equipment needed when a load is used.
•Maintains coverage through lunches, breaks and shift changes.
