The schedule for this position will be 7:45 AM to 11:15 AM, Monday through Friday.
This position functions as the building receptionist and switch-board operator. This includes answering and routing phone calls, greeting visitors, receiving/forwarding fax messages, processing interoffice mail, coordinating use of conference rooms, accepting donations, writing receipts and following proper cash handling procedures. The receptionist helps to problem solve communication issues, guest and building problems as needed. The receptionist provides administrative and clerical support to supervisor and management staff utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Requirements
Essential Functions
Responsible for answering and expediting all incoming calls to staff/departments in a pleasant and professional manner.
Document messages and distribute to appropriate persons.
Screen calls/visitors and direct visitors to staff person/meeting in a pleasant and professional manner.

Assist with holiday decorating of the lobby.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for the health and safety of visitors and persons served.
The receptionist is expected to promote a positive work environment by maintaining a distraction free area around the front desk, directing those staff having questions or complaints to their immediate supervisor.
Serve as an advocate and protect the rights of persons served.
Participate in trainings/meetings as requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
At least one year of previous receptionist experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiar with switchboard capabilities and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook.
Ability to communicate clearly and in a courteous and professional manner both in person and over the telephone.

The Assistant Clinical Director will be a staff member in Therapy Services. The primary focus of this position is to provide support and mentorship to staff implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and behavior plans developed and approved by the family and the insurance provider. The Developmental Therapist is responsible for implementing programs at home or other sites. They will plan, implement, evaluate, and document each child's instructional curriculum to ensure proper programming. This will be done in conjunction with the child's parent/guardian who will attend during home visits.

To evaluate and record, in consultation with the parents and appropriate agencies and ancillary staff, each child's overall programming and recommend, where indicated, curriculum enhancement or alternative placement. Methods of evaluation will be current with agency standards. This is to be reported on selected developmental checklists, quarterly reviews, evaluation reports, and selected family assessment checklists. Evaluation tools used will be determined by agency standard.
To bring to the attention of appropriate staff or other concerned professionals, any special needs of the child or family.
To suggest to the Director and other Infant/Toddler staff, the implementation of expanded services or innovative programs where client needs are not being met.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for the health and safety of children served at all times.

Expected to participate in training as required by their supervisor or for all LOGAN staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree, or above, in the area of child development, special education, early childhood education, or nursing; according to the requirements of the Indiana First Steps Program.
Experience
One year of experience serving children 0-3 is preferred but not necessary.
