**Responsibilities:**

Job Description: The Procurement Specialist position is a global position instrumental in supporting the procurement agreements and transactional work for sites in North America/Puerto Rico. This position has numerous varied and complex tasks which must be handled efficiently and effectively to ensure that client, supplier, and buyer needs are met and is the primary interface regarding all matters related to inquiries, purchase orders, invoicing, purchasing documents and any other client service-related items in the handling of Procurement transactional work. This must be accomplished in a way that shows the highest regard for core values. Some of the key job responsibilities include: • Responsible for preparing, negotiating, managing, and coordinating agreements supporting the procurement of various materials and services. o Buyer of record with execution authority o Points of negotiation may include, but not limited to - terms and conditions, lump sums, labor rates, mark-ups, and terms of payment o Create white paper agreements. • Analyze orders to ensure correct T's & C's are used for the work being performed. As buyer of record, may engage Legal on T's & C's during the negotiation process with suppliers • Monitor agreements to ensure that they do not expire. Upon expiration, make the decision and/or work with the buyer to address whether the agreement will be extended, canceled, or recreated. • Serve as a resource to new buyers regarding S&L policies and procedures. • After negotiations are complete by buyer, independently lead and handle all end-to-end processes. This includes setting up agreements appropriately, ensuring the correct T's & C's were used by buyer and raising questions/concerns if any found, obtaining authorizations, executing the agreement by getting appropriate signatures, and implementing agreements. • Collaborate with supply chain and/or contract administrators to ensure agreements are implemented at the site level. • Serve as key contact to handle day-to-day needs of the sites and suppliers, as well as use discretionary judgment to resolve issues that may arise in the absence of the buyer. • Use discretionary judgment to independently assess workload to set priorities and adjust. This involves close interaction and integration with various businesses and functions to ensure uninterrupted supply in the receipt of goods and services, and ultimately in providing outstanding client, supplier and buyer satisfaction. • Respond to critical delivery issues and use judgment to resolve issues in a prompt manner. • Resolve supply, and invoicing issues with suppliers. Interface with both internal clients and external suppliers to resolve issues without leadership direction. • Initiate, develop, facilitate and/or implement process improvements specific to service centers, commodities, and/or site procurement processes. • Create standard operating procedures and training documents. • Participate on global teams to drive standardization across global service centers. • Drive to improve KPI performance As a reminder, please note that DuPont has announced the intended divestiture of a majority of its M&M business to Celanese Corporation. This includes the Engineering Polymers business; Vamac & Hytrel product lines; Microcircuit & Component Materials; and DuPont Teijin Films. The transaction is expected to close around the end of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. At the time of the transaction close, you are expected to become an employee of Celanese Corporation or its affiliate.

The Procurement & Logistics Assistant is responsible for assisting the Procurement Manager and Procurement and Logistics Specialist with procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity strategies plans and the management of supplier relationships. Other areas of responsibility include inventory control, price negotiation, planning, production, logistics and quality control.

This position description is not an active opening, but is representative of positions within Chenega Security SBU that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at Chenega Security SBU.
Responsibilities

* Coordinates and maintains records for all company IT equipment to include Chenega supplied cell phones.
* Recommends most desirable suppliers, prepares and issues purchase orders, and generates requests for quotes.
* Assists with maintaining inventory records on SharePoint & storage facilities for weapons, uniforms, and equipment.
* Assists with shipping and receiving. Researches, prices and purchases office supplies.
* Assists with order placement, tracking, receiving, inspecting, and storage of equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies in support of contract field managers and directors.
* Assists Procurement and Logistics Specialist. Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
* Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
* Assists with generating reports, codes transactions, and processes material through data processing for application in the accounting system.
* Tracks payments to vendors through completion.
* Ships equipment and supplies to project locations in support of requirements.
* Interfaces and coordinates with the following: Finance/Pricing, Operations, Vendors.
* Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
* Required to adhere to all government agency guidelines as it applies to COVID vaccine Attestation/Restrictions.

Qualifications

* High school graduate and a minimum of one year of purchasing and/or logistics related experience.
