SAIC has an opening in their **Oxnard, CA** Operations Team for **Logistics Analyst** to manage direct program logistics matters. This includes system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. The candidate will be the focal point of control for the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Additionally, the candidates will supoprt the program plans, schedules and manage the efficient movement of materials from receiving or the warehouse to production. Logistics functions for the program will encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans amongst various service componets. Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT
As a Logistics Analyst, you will be accountable for identifying efficient and effective logistics solutions for Plexus' manufacturing locations. Primary responsibilities include participating in logistics optimization projects that allow Plexus to move products in the most efficient manner possible for international and domestic opportunities and in the development of the Sustaining Solutions strategy.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Subject matter expert for logistics processes and identification of projects to drive improved efficiency through improved costs, better utilization of equipment, mode selection and analysis of alternative routing methods.Support Global Logistics projects and continuous improvement initiatives through evaluation of effective mode selection, packaging utilization, consolidation opportunities, analysis and support of inbound transportation sourcing bids and implementation of global strategies.Support development and delivery of BI dashboards and KPI's that drive business performance and continuous improvement initiatives.Working closely with Regional Logistics Solutions Manager and internal costing group to develop effective logistics quote process for new business opportunities.Provide value stream mapping and gap analysis for key logistics processes and functional area as part of the opportunity and Logistics Strategy assessment.Support DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment) and Aftermarket Services AMS projects scoping, EBS integration, logistics design, modeling, implementation.
Additional Accountabilities:
Support inbound freight analysis studies for raw materials, Manage Regional Transportation metrics and KPI's.Support freight audit process improvements.Respond to both internal and external customer requests in support of tactical logistics operational needs. Resolve transportation problems, both internal and external, in a timely and satisfactory fashion. Lead or participate in Regional carrier QBR's as required.Ensure North America transportation programs support Supply Chain continuity at a highly competitive total cost given specific service level requirements.Occasional travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 10%)
Education/Experience Qualifications:
