We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with freight carriers, and ensure consistent achievement of on-time delivery metrics. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with company standards and external regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInbound & Outbound Logistics
Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers, distribution centers, and customers to confirm shipping schedules and resolve issues.
Manage and track shipment documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
Carrier Management
Serve as the main point of contact for freight carriers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
Evaluate carrier performance and negotiate rates and service levels to optimize cost and delivery times.
Resolve freight-related issues including delays, damages, and claims.
On-Time Delivery Performance
Monitor and analyze delivery metrics to ensure on-time performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Implement corrective actions and process improvements to address root causes of late deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and reporting tools to provide insights into shipping and delivery performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and production teams to align logistics plans with business needs.
Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to all transportation regulations and company policies.
Maintain proper records of shipments, carrier invoices, and freight audits.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong understanding of freight and carrier operations (LTL, FTL, international, etc.).
Proven track record in achieving or improving on-time delivery performance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms.
Data-driven mindset with experience in logistics KPI reporting and analysis.

Summary

Position Description
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the Advanced Manufacturing Technology teams goal delivering, developing and expanding processes for personalized aprevo devices. You will support the Case Design, Sales, Sales-Ops, Quality teams, suppliers and third party partners in execution of day-to-day case delivery activities. Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination and Operations
Process and track patient-specific product orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
Courier scheduling for routine delivery of product

Monitor existing schedules for changes and proactively communicate updates to sales representatives and operations teams

JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate freight movement throughout the life-cycle of each shipment while working closely with carriers and agents
Monitor shipments from order entry through delivery to ensure on-time performance
Correspond with customers extensively via phone, e-mail and website
Assist our employee drivers, agents, and carriers in obtaining critical information
Contribute to team effort by executing tasks delegated to you as needed
Manage and distribute a high volume of incoming calls and emails
Quickly and reliably resolve logistics service issues with confidence, escalating to managers when necessary
Support new and existing customer accounts to foster business development
Build and maintain carrier relationships and trust through open and interactive communication to ensure successful transportation abilities
Present customers with effective, customized, cost-efficient transportation solutions to achieve service objectives
Prepare quotes for customers and vendors

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1+ year experience providing customer service and operational support. Preferably in Shipping or Logistics.
