Job Description: Logistics Analyst / IMT Coordinator Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain DHS Suitability) Travel: As needed Position Overview: The Logistics Analyst supports domestic and international logistics and supply chain operations through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. This role focuses on improving visibility into logistics performance, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, and enabling informed decision-making through dashboards, reports, and stakeholder communication. The analyst works independently while collaborating with internal teams, carriers, customs agents, and clients across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SharePoint-based reports to support logistics and operational decision-making. Utilize DAX functions and data modeling techniques to create accurate measures, join multiple data sources, and deliver client-driven analytical reports. Oversee export operations for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, company policies, and carrier requirements. Coordinate with clients, carriers, customs agents, warehouse teams, and internal stations across the United States and internationally to ensure seamless shipment execution and tracking. Reconcile discrepancies between shipment records, invoices, and tracking logs to maintain data accuracy and financial integrity. Analyze logistics and supply chain metrics related to product availability, transportation reliability, delivery performance, and cost efficiency. Prepare detailed status reports and operational summaries for senior leadership, highlighting shipment status, response effectiveness, personnel accountability, and process improvement opportunities. Gather and assess market and operational updates from stations, airlines, and carriers to inform stakeholders and recommend optimal shipment schedules or carrier utilization. Recommend and support implementation of process improvements to increase delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Support the drafting, editing, and implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and ad hoc documentation to improve compliance and information sharing. Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables for logistics initiatives and organize kickoff meetings with warehouse, carrier, and IT stakeholders. This role ensures the smooth, cost-effective, and timely handling of exhibitor materials, coordinating with contractors, labor, staff, and exhibitors to deliver high-quality freight experiences. Duties and Responsibilities: Pre-Show Planning Develop comprehensive freight operation plans, schedules, and logistics timelines for the event. Coordinate with advanced warehouse, transportation providers, and venue operations teams. Provide freight-related content and service descriptions for the Exhibitor Service Manual. Forecast freight volumes, equipment and staffing needs. Prepare budgets, target plans, and operational plans for marshalling yard and freight desks.
