Job DescriptionDewitt Move Worldwide seeks to hire an experienced logistics professional, with excellent customer service skills, to assist our Government Logistics Department with GSA agencies moving household goods and personal effects around the world. We are a family-owned, essential business, looking for an excellent logistics specialist, to join our growing team in San Diego! Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate door to door logistics for household goods shipments, including pickup, packing, transportation (ocean & air freight), storage, and delivery. Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns throughout the move process Prepare, review, and maintain shipment documentation (estimates, inventories, ocean bills of lading, AWBs, delivery receipts, etc.) Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issues Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations Track shipment costs Performs other related duties as assigned.
